Well, as 2008 draws to a close, I thought I would write about stuff, mainly because I will be house-sitting until the 10th of January 2009, and will have no access to the internet during that time, so I won't be able to come fanpop and that means I will be in serious withdrawal and that I will miss all tu fine people! So, I thought I would share some misceláneo thoughts with you, basically to fuel my own fanpop addiction for the last time before my 2 impending Fanpop-less weeks.

MY THOUGHTS ON HOUSE MD: SEASON 4

I got season 4 on dvd for Christmas, so I am currently reliving its greatness. Like many House fans, I was nervous about Foreman, Cameron and Chase leaving, but I was also looking foreward to the changes that would be coming.
Here are some of the things that I really loved about season 4:

1) House in general. He gets funnier and bastardier every season.

2) Wilson being a little más laid back. While he still dished out his usual moral and ethical advice, I thought he became much más laid back about the adventures that he and House experienced over the season.

3) Kal Penn, because I amor 'Harold and Kumar'.

4) The POTWs. Once again, this season provided some excellent and unique patients that offered insight into not only House and other characters on the show, but also into life in general.

5) 'House's Head'/'Wilson's Heart'. I hate it when tv shows make me sad, but these 2 episodes were simply brilliant in my opinion. Highlights for me were Cuddy striping, the bus crash sequence and Robert Sean Leonard's flawless performance.

Now, some things about season 4 that I could have done without:

1) Getting rid of Ridiculously Old Fraud. I loved him with all my corazón and soul. Personally, I was very intrigued por the House/ROF partnership and thought that ROF added an interesting relationship with House to the show. House genuinely liked ROF and wanted to help him out. We don't often see that side of House. So I think it was the bromance that never was... *sigh*

2) Amber. Well, thats not true. In the segundo half of the season, she was vital and played a crucial role in one of the most important storylines on the show. But, personally, for the first half of the season when she was trying to get the job with House, I found her unbelievably irritating. I had never disliked a character until she came along. But the writers slapped me across the face when the Wilson/Amber stroyline came along, because I think she was perfect in that role. However, I still can't stand her in the first half of the season.

All in all, season 4 was the best season so far in my book. The mostrar took a big risk por changing the mostrar so dramatically, but I personally think that it paid off big time. And even though it was only a 16 episode season, I think they packed a lot of great stuff into it.

MY THOUGHTS ON HOUSE MD: SEASON 5 (SO FAR)

Ah, season 5. Even though we are only part way through it, it is already my favourite season. This mostrar just keeps getting better with age. Its already been a bit of a roller-coaster for me, as 1) I am a devout follower of Wilsonism, so his absence during the House/Wilson fight of 08' was a particularly bumpy time, and 2) I also dabble in Thirteenism and we all know that she hasn't exactly had it easy lately. So here are some of the things that I have loved about season 5 up to this point:

1) The character development of the new team members. I amor each and every one of them and I have loved every direction that the writers have taken these characters. Each and every character adds something to the mostrar and provides interesting new interactions between House and between other characters too.

2) House's further character development. I think this House/Cuddy arc is really forcing House to look at who he is and figure out what he wants. Personally, I think in the end he will decide to stay the same, because I think he is happiest when he is miserable. But I am enjoying the way that he is looking at himself, even if it is just a little bit. I think the House/Wilson storyline from the begining of the season also made House look at himself, so I think it is great to see más evidence of how House is affected por both Wilson and Cuddy, rather than just vice versa. It is also incredibly interesting to see House regress so markedly when he see both Wilson and Cuddy moving foreward in their lives and leaving him behind. It really shows how much he depended on them and I think he is now realising that.

3) Thirteen's journey. Brilliant storyline in my view. Also, I am a little gay for a Olivia Wilde, so that may explain why I amor her, her character and the whole 'Thirteen-struggles-with-Huntingon's' arc. Also, it leads to...

4) Foreteen! Ok, so I have never really been that much of a "shipper". I have loved all the relationships on the show, whether they been friendships o romantic relationships. Personally, I don't need to actually see these relationships happen. For example, I amor the Huddy relationship, but I am quite happy for it to never actually happen. I amor their interaction above anything else. So "shipping" has never really been that emotional for me. Until, of course, Foreman and Thirteen came along. As some of tu will know, I began shipping Foreman and Thirteen in season 4 after their goregous exchange in an MRI room in 'Dying Changes Everything'. Ever since then, I dreamed of them getting married and making babies, but never actually expecting them to hook-up. But, as glorious fate would have it, Foreman and Thirteen have developed a sweet and genuine relationship and it seems to be moving in an incredibly exciting direction. Long story short, I amor Foreteen.

5) Taub trying to buy cocaine. Priceless.

MY THOUGHTS ON FANPOP

Overall, 2008 has been a good año for the House fan in me. And what has made it better has been this wonderful spot! I would like to thank everyone who participates in this spot for making it a fantastic fansite.
This year, the spot has grown to be one of the most popular spots on Fanpop. We also got our very own chat room so that we can talk to each other about House and anything else we want to talk about!
Most of all, I would like to say that I really amor being part of this spot and that I amor all the fans of this spot for making it an awesome place for us all to share our amor for House.

So thanks for a great 2008 my fellow Fanpoppers! I hope tu all have a fantastic holiday and I look foreward to another House-filled año in 2009!
