lost corazón (1973) based on a tale por the marvellous ghost story teller MR James, is one of the Ghost Stories adapted por the BBC for the Yuletide series, adapted por Robert Chapman. Filmed on location in Lincolnshire during November, the autumnal scenery and gótico Manor House provide a beautifully effective setting for such a spooky ambient tale.
The story tells of Stephen Elliott, (Simon Gipps) a young orphan boy sent to stay with his much older cousin, Mr Abney (Joseph O'Conor) who's portrayal is reminiscent of Dr Caligari in his jerking movements and animated expressions. The eccentric Mr...

Dear Reader,
Almost every single scary movie is the exact same, pretty girl, hot guy, nerd, out siders, they team up o hate each other. Pretty girl usually dies its boring! I mean scary movie watchers are getting to where they can predict the whole movie por the first death and get it right! And when tu know whats gonna happen it's no longer scary. There are few newer scary cine where the watcher actually doesn't know whats gonna happen and if tu know any please tell me.

Everyone is familiar with the usual branches of horror: Jump Scares, Torture Porn, Psychotic Slasher, Unspeakable Evil, Domineering Villainy etc. Yet in today's current media stream we are slowly seeing the demise of one of the greatest mediums of the horror genre. Psychological. Now, I know some of tu know what this genre is but to those who do not it is based on the emotional and psychological aspect of the main character/characters por either exploiting o twisting them in ways that drive them to a fine breaking point. From films such as "Jacobs Ladder" to even video games such as "System...

Hello, my name is Heather and I'm a horrorholic. Specifically a slasher stan. I've been watching horror cine since I was a single digit año old and slashers are my favorito! sub-genre of not only horror but any cine period. There's something very formulaic and familiar about them and they bring me inner peace. So with that said, I will be reviewing this movie from a slasher standpoint - if that makes sense to anyone at all.

For those who don't know Hell Fest is a 2018 American slasher film directed por Gregory Plotkin. The film stars Amy Forsyth, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards and Tony Todd,...

Got a hankering for a little bloody humor? Then, you’ll probably want to check out the original web series, “SLICE.”

Created and directed por Daniel Ferry, this horror meets dark comedy crossover stars Marzy Hart as a woman who can’t quench her thirst to kill. Marzy also produced the 7 episodes that make up the first season.

“SLICE” recently screened at Vancouver WebFest, earning a ‘Best Horror’ nomination, and will be heading to HollyWeb Fest as an ‘Official Selection’ later this month.

I recently caught up with Marzy Hart to find out más about “SLICE.”

Carnival of Souls is a low budget horror movie released initially in 1962 and directed por Herk Harvey. (Who also stars)
Mary Henry (Candace Hilligoss) is the sole survivor of a fatal car accident following a drag race.
After the crash, Mary leaves town and takes a job as a church organist, but her new start is plagued por visions of a ghoulish man (Herk Harvey). As her creepy visions intensify, Mary finds herself drawn to an oddly alluring, deserted carnival. The surreal setting and imagery that ensues within the carnival is nightmarish and memorable, reminiscent of many great horror movies.
Overall, Carnival of Souls is a stylish, eerie, effective and chilling horror film that has earned a devoted cult following.
So I wanted to make this quick-ish articulo about how the fan of the mes thing works. Who knows, maybe some of tu who didn't want to participate before may want to now! These things are usually done in más active spots like spots for couples o popular tv shows, but this spot is NOT really that active and that's why I wanted to do this contest thing. I want to encourage más activity! So here's just a general preguntas frecuentes about FOTM! I hope tu participate!

How is the FOTM determined?
A pick will be made (by me) with usernames of the people who have participated within this spot in the last month....

I am not a huge fan of horror films, however I would buscar on YouTube to see trailers of the latest horror films o if I can able to watch a whole film.

I do like the works of Tim Burton, and Alfred Hitchcock as I can cope to watch one of their works without feeling uneasy at night, despite its only a film which sometimes would be based on true facts o true stories.

There are so many horror films that I have not heard of, but there are a few that I have heard o seen on the TV/ social media as trailers.

I rather have someone with me to watch a full horror film but like I dicho before, I will not able to be comfortable at night when sleeping in bed.

Hi, some of tu may know me as sapherequeen, but I had to create a new account for myself.
tu see, 2 days hace I changed my contraseña to something I do not remember at all, so the siguiente día when I had to sign in, I couldn't. fanpop did send me a temporary password, but the correo electrónico address that receives this contraseña was deleted a long time ago. So I basically had no other choice but to create a new account.
I know this is totally random, but I just wanted to let people know why my screenname may seem a little different when I start putting más contributions here.
Well, that's all :)

Sincerely,

Death by.. escalator?
Death. Death death death death death death. That's what you'll get if tu go and see the new, and fourth in the series, Final Destination. I've been a pretty big fan of the other films for a while, and so when I heard about this movie I thought it would be fun. And it was. Blood, bad acting, and más death is about all tu get in this flick though.

So the story goes, A kid named Nick and his friends are at a racetrack when a car spins out of control and everything goes to hell. Pretty much everyone dies, and then Nick comes back to reality to see that it was just a vision. They
leave, everyone...

47 Meters Down is a 2017 British survival horror film directed por Johannes Roberts, and starring Mandy Moore and Claire Holt. It was released on June 16, 2017.

I just got back from seeing this and WOW! All I have to say is wow. Let's just dive (pun intended) right in to my review. This will contain no spoilers.

The film starts out with sisters Lisa (Mandy Moore) and Kate (Claire Holt) on vacation in Mexico. Within 5 minutes, we know that Lisa's deadbeat of a boyfriend Stuart dumped her because she wasn't fun enough for him and he was bored with their relationship. Lisa is still pining for him...

1.Strange Noises:
As long as there are horror movies, there will be strange noises emerging from dark places. And as long as there are strange noises, there will be idiots who walk carelessly into the darkness to investigate them. Nine times out of 10, we refer to these people as "victims." This is a particularly mindless cliche, one which defies all sensible logic for the sake of racking up a body count. There isn't a circumstance in the world in which you'd convince a terrified teenager that exploring some bizarre clattering in the depths of a shadowy haunted house is in any way a worthwhile...
