I don't really think he's gay in my opinion. Since he likes girls, I personally find him more straight than gay.

I think he's straight, just a little... overly-friendly with guys. As much as I ship GerIta, I think that Italy is straight.

While it's up for Himaruya to decide, I personally don't see him as being gay. He actually seems more asexual to me, but in a heteromantic way since he's always complimenting girls. I'm not sure. It's hard to pin Italy to one definite sexuality. I just see him as being super outgoing and clingy to everyone X3
