"Why compare Harry Potter and Twilight? Why would tu compare such different things?" are two preguntas this spot has come across often. And to be honest, it irritates the living crap out of me when people ask this.
The media plays a role in things and this debate is no different. On the cover of Breaking Dawn there is a quote from USA Today saying "Move over Harry Potter".(Newsflash, we're not going anywhere) Now, don't tell me that doesn't anger you/ tu wouldn't feel angry if tu were a Harry Potter fan. "Stephanie Meyer is the new J.K.Rowling." It really pisses me off when people say this...

Like a lot of other Antis, I was at first a Twilight fan.

I got into lectura when I was 8 years old. First real book I have read was Harry Potter. Since than, I have read loads of fiction - romance, science fiction, fantasy, historical novels...
I liked some of them and disleked others. With years, I learnd to tell why and found my favoritos - fantasía novels.

My friend heard of upcoming Twilight movie, so she decided to read it. She recomended the book to me, so I said: "Heck, why not, it sounds interesing." I borrowed it from school biblioteca and read it. I admit, I thought it was great, and I...

New Moon Review

“…she [Stephanie Meyer] can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good…” ~ Stephen King

And frankly, I agree. Stephanie Meyer, autor of the Twilight series, has gotten her share of criticism, but also many undeserved raving fans. I’m going to take a closer look at her segundo book in this series, New Moon.
New Moon Is quite possibly the just all-around worst book in the series, and I will tell tu why.

One, Edward leaves Bella, and she turns into a zombie-like wreck. She abandons all of her friends, instead focusing what little personality she has on hatred for Edward...

To a Twilight vampire!
Bonnie Wright, the British actress who plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, is set to tie the knot with her actor beau Jamie Campbell Bower (Cauis from New Moon).

The 19-year-old was spotted mostrando off her "glittering engagement ring" to fellow guests at a Gucci party last night, according to reports.

As well as playing a vampire in New Moon, 21-year-old Jamie will co-star with Bonnie as the wizard Gellert Grindelwald in the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

The couple met only a few months hace and Bonnie recently gushed in an interview, "We just really clicked straight away. He's a great guy, and we just enjoy spending time together... He's really lovely. Everything is going great."

FOR A segundo THERE I DIDDNT THINK IT WAS EVER POSSIBLE!

So we all know who Bella is, complete muggle and interfering with the magical world. The Department of International Magical Cooperation and the Department of Magic Reversal are overlooking claims, as shown on that post on My Life Is Twilight. I know this has been covered a lot, but I'm going to go in a bit further on what makes Muggles like her so much.

In several articles, Bella was described as an empty shell, meaning any girl can relate to her. This fits, because we know that she's only described as clumsy. Well, so are hundreds of millions of people in the world...so they could fit into...

Note: I originally had this as a question, but I guess it was too long, so I'm re-posting this in an article.

Question number one: vampiros hearts don't beat, correct? Correct. I believe this is mentioned several times. Now, in health class, they teach tu that your corazón pumps and makes your blood flow, correct? Correct. So, it stands to reason that, since vampiros hearts don't beat, they don't have blood flow, correct? Yes. So, they have no blood flow, no circulation. They cannot bleed, o blush, o anything related to circulation, yes? Yes. This is dicho several times in the book.

Now, call...

Hey, I was originally going to put this in the comentarios section of a 'picks' question, but I realized it was too long so I put it here.

This is what I think, about the crap they call the 'Twilight Saga'. A book based on an author's wet dreams and hopes.

Twilight- Who? WHO FALLS IN amor AFTER SEEING A PERSON THREE TIMES IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE?! Plus, I'll summarize the entire book.

It's like-
Bella: Oh Edward, tu hate me.
Edward: No I amor you
Bella: tu amor me?
Edward: Stay away from me.
Bella: Stay away from you?
Edward: Just stay with me. I mean, it was obvious I wanted tu from the start, wasn't...

OK, so many Harry Potter/vampire fans (like myself) will probably agree that Edward Cullen is not a real vampire. The only similarities that Edward and other vampiros have is the liking of human blood. I suppose Meyer was trying to be original, and I don't mean to offend anyone who does like the sparklepyres.

Why Edward Cullen is a niffler

Before I state my actual reasons, I should probably tell anyone who doesn't know what a niffler actually is. For this I have my trusty Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them book:

NIFFLER
M.O.M. Classification: XXX [Which means a competent wizard should cope...

Dolores Jane Umbridge… can ANYONE forgive her? And yet, despite being so horrendously evil, she is a very interesting character.
She is very loyal, because we know how she remained on Fudge’s side through the whole dilemma. She is also very easy to hate, for she gave Harry countless detentions for telling the truth. We know very little about Dolores; surely Rowling knows more. She has always planned her characters to the death – one reason why Harry Potter makes a very interesting read.
Back on the topic of Umbridge, we have to accept that she could have had a childhood like Snape –...

So I am lectura reasons as to why Twilight fans think Twilight is better than Harry Potter. I just want to make it clear; there is a big difference between liking one series better than another, and one series actually being better than another. I also want to reply to some of the más common ones I've seen.

"Twilight has más love!"
Okay, Twilight does not have más amor than Harry Potter por any means. Twilight has a lot of obsessive lust, which is often mistaken for love, but they are quite different.

Why is their relationship lust? Why isn't it love?

Well, what do Bella and Edward do together?...

Many Twilighters amor to say how "Edward and Bella amor each other sooooo much!" I'm afraid I have to disagree on this point. Their relationship is pure lust, not love.

Here is my reasoning.

How do Bella and Edward decide they are in love? Well, Bella moves in to Forks. Her first día of High School there, she looks across the cafeteria, and she sees a totally gorgeous guy! He catches her attention immediately and she decides right then and there that he is the only man in the town who is good enough for her, despite the fact that she has never spoken to him once in her life. She swats off the...
