Chapter 7
Jessica(narrating): All the tributes had to line up right in front of that Cornucopia. The same Cornucopia that Heechul told me to avoid. How in the word does someone resist the urge to get supplies if it's right in front of you? Heechul should really stop drinking so much.
Annoucer: Hello everyone! Welcome to the 74th annual Hunger Games, where the whole world will be watching! Tributes, please take your positions!
Jessica(narrating): Wow, some announcer. Trying to make me fear for my life más than I already am.
Kris: Hey!
Jessica: Huh? (narrating) I realized that I was the only one who wasn't with my partner. Awkward...
Kris: There tu are. tu seem like tu were deep in thought.
Jessica: Well, tu know my specialty: spacing out.
Kris: That's true. Anyway, good luck! You're going to do great!
Jessica: Thanks, tu too.
Annoucer: As tu can see, there is this gigantic Cornucopia right behind the tributes. This Cornucopia is filled with supplies that can help tu survive the Games! Just remember to grab, then go!
Jessica(narrating): See, Heechul? Perfectly safe.
Annoucer: So, tributes, get ready!
Kris: Good luck!
Jessica: Let's do this.



Chapter 8
Jessica(narrating): As soon as they told us to go, I knew that I had to get at least one supply for me and Kris. I could even see the look on Heechul's face telling me not to. I know that he's our mentor, but I can do what I want without anyone telling me to. I was about to grab something, but then Kris pulled me back.
Kris: Hey, what do tu think you're doing?
Jessica: Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to get supplies!
Kris: You're going against Heechul's advice.
Jessica: So what? If he advised tu to jump off a cliff, would tu do it?
Kris: No. I have más common sense than that.
Jessica: Exactly my point.
Kris: But stil, I have a bad feeling about this.
Jessica: Come on, Kris. What could go wrong? I'll see tu later.
Kris: Okay then. Just.. Just be careful.
Jessica: Okay. (narrating) I wish I could take back those words. In a matter of seconds, something... something so horrible happened that I can't even begin to explain. I ran back to Kris.
Jessica: Let's go!
Kris: Huh? What happened to the...
Jessica: LET'S GO! (narrating) And in the first día of the Hunger Games, eleven people were killed. I just hope I'm not next...
