This section of my fanpop User's Guide covers links, the lifeblood of Fanpop, and was last substantively edited on 4 June 2013.

So, you've registered on the site and now tu want to add some content to your favorito! spots. The vast majority of the stuff on fanpop is in the form of enlaces which point to content in other places, whether they are articles, galleries, videos, games, o any other sort of content tu can find online.

Any time that tu are about to add content to Fanpop, tu should check first to make sure that the content isn't already linked from the site (at least...

Good Grammar is Sexy

Yes, yes it is.

As some of tu may know, I often suffer from grammar-induced rage blackouts. These can be triggered por anything from a misplaced apostrophe to the incorrect usage of "your" and "you're". So, I decided to do something about it.. mostly because I'm afraid the siguiente dangling modifier I come across might send me spiraling into a violent rampage the likes of which have never been seen.

I understand that a lot of Fanpoppers are not native English speakers, and thus might not have as good a hold on our sometimes ridiculously complicated grammatical rules. Obviously, I can't fault them for their mistakes....

Duplicate imágenes tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot o not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the palabra clave department.

Google has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, tu are able to subir o link an image into the buscar bar and you’ll be dado a lista of web pages containing your selected image.

Right, I have been thinking about this. I have been thinking about certain things on fanpop recently and as much as I amor this place there are certain things that irk me.

Hate Spots
I've seen spots that are about hating a certain thing. I thought this place was más about sharing things we enjoy so we can give each other images, links, videos, etc not "oh I hate this and this and this". It doesn't make anything friendly.

Okay everybody on fanpop is a fan of something, tu have to be, But what is a true fan? Well, I'll tell you.
According to Webster's Dictionary, a fan is
A:
Function: noun
Etymology: probably short for fanatic
1 : an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport o a performing art) usually as a spectator
2 : an ardent admirer o enthusiast (as of a celebrity o a pursuit) <science-fiction fans>

This is a great definition of a fan of a baseball team o a specific person, such as the Yankees o Brad Pitt. But is that really what the fans on fanpop are? No....
