I want to start por saying that I think it is absolutely brilliant. I visit several times a día and there is always something new to see. In my eyes that is the beauty of it right?
I amor that although its is a somewhat controlled environment (which is a good thing) we are pretty much able to voice our opinion on what we like and what we don't like.
I joined fanpop because I amor to share videos, photos, artículos and pretty much anything else that has to do with a common interest. I will confess that I am a major fan of the office. I amor to share any bit of office news with people who will appreciate it and be just as thrilled and enthusiastic about the video o foto etc as I am.
Here and there though I have bumped into the occasional criticism. Which is natural as we all have our own opinions but I don't think that it is acceptable o necessary to be rude about it.
I don't expect fanpop to monitor this as it is our difference of opinion and tastes that allow us to rate enlaces and have such a large variety of spots. I do however hope that people see our contributions as just that. Its not a competition. Its más like a place for friends to share and enjoy themselves. At least that is how I see it.
I see the medallas as a pat on the back o a nod from fellow contributors. Not a million dollar prize that I must stomp on other people to get a hold of.
We are all doing the best we can. If tu are upset because a clip is publicado as a link instead of being able to view it directly from a video page - I can to a point understand that. The thing to look out for is will your nasty comentario discourage people from participating?
Sometimes I find awesome clips on youtube and the embedding feature is disabled. Will it really kill tu to click one más time? Isn't great that someone let tu know it was there even though they were not able to embed it for you?
Lets keep this place as light hearted and fun as possible. Don't under rate things to make your enlaces look better. Its just not cool!
fanpop is a fantastic site and I think with a positive attitude it will continue to be awesome.
So to end just a few words from Michael Scott for those people spreading nasty vibes ...
Michael: That was offensive and lame. So double offensive. This is an environment of welcoming and tu should just get the hell out of here.
LOL
Hugs :)
