Duplicate imágenes tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot o not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the palabra clave department.
google has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, tu are able to subir o link an image into the buscar bar and you’ll be dado a lista of web pages containing your selected image.
(I’m about to walk tu through the steps. I’ll be using a picture from link)
* First, visit link. (tinyeye.com is also another reverse image buscar engine, but it doesn’t have fanpop in its database, so don’t bother.)
* Click on the camera icono located at the end of the buscar bar.
---A box will pop up. If tu have the image saved to your computer, click on the “upload an image” link, and… subir the image. If it’s easier to get the image URL, get the url and paste it in the textbox.
*Click buscar and you’ll be taken to a lista of results, as google usually does. In some cases, such as this one, google will add a word to describe your image.
---In most cases, if the image is already uploaded onto Fanpop, it will be displayed as one of the parte superior, arriba results
*If fanpop doesn’t come up as one of the results,
try erasing Google’s guess and type in “Fanpop”, then click buscar again.
*By this point, tu should have your answer.
The parte superior, arriba result will ALWAYS be:
“Fanpop - fan clubes for everything. What are tu a fan of?
www.fanpop.com/
Fanpop is a network of fan clubes for fans of television, movies, música and más to discuss and share photos, videos, news and opinions with fellow fans. 42 images...”
So ignore that.
What tu need to look for is the results that follow. If tu don't get any fanpop results, then you’re seguro to subir the image without committing the crime of duplication.
If tu DO get a fanpop result, make sure tu follow the link and actually check which spot it was uploaded to. (You wouldn’t want to miss out on your opportunity just because someone uploaded the same image to the misceláneo spot 2.5 years hace o because it’s the thumbnail of some video)
If tu get más than one fanpop result, then that most likely means that the image has been uploaded to más than one spot, as demonstrated below.
o that the image appears on más than one url in one single spot, which is completely normal (the spot’s homepage, image page, fondo de pantalla page, the page for the image itself, the related imágenes thumbnail, a pick icon, etc.)
o that a duplicate was added at some point o another.
Here’s to hopes for less duplicate images.

OK guys! Today we'll talk about ratings! Many of us contribute things to fanpop and it's great!!! Because we are working on it! We are looking for images, videos, enlaces to help other people! But it happens a lot that some people rate it low!!! tu know it sucks when you've being searching for something, contributing it and HERE tu ARE - tu see one estrella rating for all tu did!!! I don't understsand such people. If tu don't like the content DON'T rate it at all!!!! o at least leave comments!!! Here's the example I uploaded imágenes on spot A. I did a great job looking for them! After I was waiting so they could subir on Fanpop. And in an hora I see one estrella rating which means garbage!!! It is so insulting! I'm sure tu guys had the same situaions. We can do nothing about it. But people, APPRECIATE other Fanpoppers. Don't visit the spots tu hate, don't hurt people tu hate, DON'T RATE LOW! Please, fanpop is one and there are a lot of us so let's live in peace:)

Log in to your fanpop account and go to your profile. Click on "Photos" and subir a picture. Add a caption if tu want, then enviar the picture.
