I think this would be the scariest. Belle and Pocahontas made big sacrifices too, but I think Ariel's wasn't as much of a sacrifice - she did it for her own happiness, the others were trying to do the right thing.

I love Mulan and admire what she did, but I think Belle sacrificed more.

She is so brave, to put her life in complete danger just to save her father.

I think Belle didn't sacrifice that much. Maurice was the ONLY thing Belle had, if she hadn't taken his place, she would have had nothing left. It wasn't that big of a deal, to me. To take his place. Anyone would have done it for the person they loved most.

Pocahontas sacrificed much for keeping peace and I respect that.But i don't think she would follow Smith in a country like this either way,so it wasn't only about her people.
Ariel sacrifice is nothing to me.Sorry...
Mulan was really brave and she is my second.But I think she did that because she loved her father (and because she wanted to prove who she was inside).So, everyone sacrificed things for people they loved but they also did it because they wabted something (a little bit but still).Only Belle sacrificed everythin about her father without winning anything.

It's not that Rapunzel would have the same life she had at the beginning of movie. No, she wouldn't. At the beginning she lived with a person whom she considered as strict but loving and well-meaning parent. But Rapunzel made that promise, knowing for sure that Gothel doesn't really love her and is a cruel person. So Rapunzel wouldn't just be unfree again, she would live in the company of woman whom Rapunzel hates and disrespects and who doesn't love her.
I love Pocahontas but she doesn't lose everything. She still has her father and Nakoma and I know that the presence of our loved ones in difficult times is very important, their support is a good medicine. I know it for sure. I owe my relatives my desire to live. Powhatan, Nakoma and Grandmother Willow are by far better company than Mother Gothel.

Ariel, not so much. But she was brave to leave her abusive father.

And I completely fail to see how Belle and Rapunzel measured up to any aspect of Mulan's amount of sacrifice at all. All they did was relinquish their personal freedoms to abusive people.

She gives up love which is the bravest act I can think of.

I am not sure that every single person in this world would choose life with not just an abuser but the murderer of one's love interest over death. I really doubt it.
