Hmmm actually I find this nomination to be quite unfair at all. I for one was a fan of the month when I spent two weeks on my vacation. So, obviously I was not that active here during that month. So, it's just like every fan is nominated in any month. Then, this idea of nominating in 6 months isn't that good, in my opinion, because if the goal is to notice everyone active, we need much more than even a year.

I dunno. The previous winners seem to be divided on this, and they're the ones that this affects the most. Ideally, new active users would win most months so we could interview more people, but it would be nice to ocassionally have an old winner so their continued efforts are recognised.

A year might be better than 6 months, there aren't as many people who remain active for that long, and for those who do it shows that they definitely deserve a second win.
