I definitelly know about pigs the most on here. We kill like five pigs per year and make all kind of food. And you can definitelly shave a pig. But we usually burn pig's hair

lol, I choose this answer because I HAVE 'shaved' pigs. (as in the farm animals) But the correct term is the 'clip' pigs, but I don't expect anyone else here to know that!
