That's one of the reasons Belle is my favorite.

I've noticed that people who have deep attachments to their family tend to like Belle, and those who don't tend to like Ariel. It's not true 100% of the time, but it's an interesting factor.

The ones who give up what they want for family are at the bottom half of my list: Belle, Pocahontas, Aurora.

I guess I can just understand princesses like Ariel & Jasmine better, therefore, I like them more. This isn't true 100% of the time though. I absolutely love Mulan, and she gives up for her family. However, her family is also sort of holding her back too. I just never understood why you would sacrifice your own happiness for your family. Now, to be honest, I would trade places with my father if he had been locked up by the Beast, but that's a matter of life or death. However, in terms of just Belle not leaving her home because she's too attached to her father, I never related to that, nor do I agree with it.

Hmm, I never thought of it like that before. I'm not really sure. I don't get along with my family but I am very dependent on them. Though I never thought it had to do with me liking Belle or Tiana. Since I don't really want to help my family, though I should.

Eh, not really. I'm VERY attached to my family, but Ariel is my number one. However, all of the other princesses who find family important are very high up on my list (well, besides Belle, and Aurora's in the middle). I understand Ariel's want to leave her family, but I'm too attached to ever do something like that myself. I'd probably stay at home to help like Belle if need be, although Belle isn't very high on my list.

Sort of... my favorite two princesses didn't really have good families, but my third favorite (Belle) sort of relates... but then again, Tiana is my least favorite, so no too, while Jasmine, who has a very different situation, is my fourth.

Oh, yes, well, my teacher said that people in less developed countries are more attached to their families than those in developed. It's probably because tradition is very important to us. We find moving from home very hard, and there for you can have few generation living in one house.

Anyway, it does matter to me: Ariel would be much higher if she didn't left her family just like that, Aurora bothered me too when she started crying when she find out that she has parents. And I love Mulan's and Tiana's relationship with their fathers, well I love Belle's caring too, but she has other flaws.../

One of the reasons I don't like Belle (of which there are many and this is a rather minute one) is that she's so close with her Dad. All of the other Princesses clash with their fathers, or their fathers aren't really there. The other ones that get along with their father and don't clash (Aurora and Tiana) have their mum... And although Tiana looks up to her father, he isn't there.

I hate my Dad. Last time he came here, I literally threw him out. I don't want anything to do with him. As far as I'm considered, I don't have a father.

Well, maybe, I'm not sure. Aurora and I have similar relationships to our family, I'm kind of spoiled and my family really adores me, probably because I'm the baby of the family.
