When I watched this scene yesterday, I rewound this part 3 times and sighed everytime. I had forgotten how romantic it was. It's probably my favorite scene in the Little Mermaid. When I was a kid, I loved it too. I don't remember loving many scenes as a kid, but this is one that really stands out in my mind. Even as a kid, I thought this was really romantic, and I wasn't the romantic type. I just love how kind Eric is to this girl he just met and barely knows, and how happy Ariel looks as she's dancing. Eric is such a sweetheart, and Ariel is so fun and adorable. <3

Well, yes, I agree. Tiana & Naveen's was bad. Bending forward and kicking their legs out behind them? Stupid.

I actually love Tiana and Naveen's dance waaaaay better. It's so sweet to me. You can tell they really love each other and they just over all have so much more soul to their dancing. Ariel's and Eric's was just like eh whatever.

Ariel and Eric's was cute because I remember when he picks her up and she looks so happy. Tiana and Naveen's was full of energy but it kinda looked funny. It was nice when they did the dip and then kissed but the dance itself was eh.
