I have a hard time agreeing with any of these tbh.

This is the only one I might somewhat agree with, mainly because there's nothing about Cinderella that Ariel would find particularly exciting or endearing.

I DO agree Mulan isn't as similar to Merida as some people love to think, Mulan has more in common with Aurora and Cinderella than Merida.

Jasmine and Snow White are very different. Jasmine is very oppositional and Snow White can be passive at times. Jasmine gets angry and Snow White stays optimistic. Although, they are similar in that they can both be bossy, I still feel like their overall personalities are very different.

I think I agree with at least a few of these.

I'd have paired Ariel and Tiana as opposites. They are both determined, but that's....it. Ariel is carefree, a free thinker, and free spirited. Tiana is rigid thinking, isn't open to new experiences, and likes routines.

Also Tiana/Aurora.

Oh, definetely this. Aurora is romantic and flirtatious, mystical and quite easily influenced. Tiana is headstrong, realistic and initially uninterested in love.

I don't find Belle and Rapunzel anywhere near opposites, same with Anna and Pocahontas.

Snow White and Jasmine aren't similiar but both are quite playful and motherly. I DO agree that Mulan and Merida aren't especially similiar but they are not THAT dissimiliar.

I think Mulan and Jasmine are close to opposites( Mulan is family-oriented, insecure to the point of being self-hating, mostly reserved but at the same time persistent, while Jasmine is abrasive, confident, self-indulgent but talks more than she walks and isn't very family-oriented).
