I literally fail to see what reason Jasmine would have to dislike Merida. She would probably think she was awesome! Especially the "And I'll be shooting for my own hand!"

Pocahontas, I think she'd like her too, but maybe be frustrated that Pocahontas doesn't speak up until the end of the movie. And her indecisiveness

Jasmine would have a lot of common with Merida; didn't want an arranged marriage, being stuck in their kingdom. Jasmine would love Merida's action, which was more than what she can do. She also love how she was able to rule her own life and ask her parents to cancel the marriage and let her to choose what she want to do in her life; something that she doesn't seems able to do without helps from Aladdin.

Pocahontas is too indecisive and barely speak her mind, which makes Jasmine like her the less.

She'd like both but definitely Merida, no question.
