In general, bringing up feminism in these older Disney movies is pretty annoying, especially since the times were different. So I like that this one brings up a good point about how things haven't exactly changed.

Don't agree with #1 at all. So what if girls nowadays still don't have the confidence to go after the guys they like? That just speaks to the flaws in our society and why we need feminism in the first place.

Haha definitely this one XD I'm on the fence about #1. On the one hand I agree that it's annoying when people bash the early princesses, but I don't think today's girls just sit around and I think female empowerment is a very important part of media.

I find a lot of the Disney fandom is... a little lacking in self awareness. Like how obsessed they are with bashingthe other girls for not saving a country like Mulan. When was the last time they did that?

Also, when has Tangled ever gotten hate? It barely gets criticism as it is. Not for the emotional blackmail or the contrived realization that Rapunzel is the lost princess or anything, really.
