Why would Jasmine, Pocahontas and Mulan listen to Christian music? Jasmine and Mulan aren't Christian!

Yes but Disney Princess Pocahontas didn't become Christian nor did she change her name to Rebecca. Historical Real Life Pocahontas did. But this doesn't sound like a historical question. Some people are going to look at it and think history-religion-renaissance. Others are going to look at it in a modern music view and bring their beloved animated characters as themselves into the modern world for a bit of make-believe. Some like me will recognise the european princesses as christian, therefore renaissance. Look at it realistically but also with one or two characters prefer make-believe over history.

^ Fair enough point. I like to look at who they were at the end of their films and portray them in the modern world with modern tastes. Always get stuck on Pocahontas though and never know which version to use. ;)
