She's actually underrated in looks IMO.

She's not overrated, she deserves the amount of attention she gets for her beauty.

I don't see why a lot see as ugly just because she was designed differently. She has a unique look and it all works well on her. I would include Jasmine and Belle too.

Not even close. She's earned her stunning status. Of all the ones always called beautiful, she is the most striking and unique.

Not a day goes by where I don't see someone saying, "She's so ugly! Why does everyone think she's so pretty?" Although I think it's mostly people tying to be edgy.

She is really beautiful.

People often say she is overrated, plain and that blond triplets from her movie are prettier. Also I noticed many people, who find Belle overrated, admire, prefer the looks of females I don't even consider good-looking, let alone gorgeous or more beautiful than Belle( Charlotte la Bouff, Snow White, Miriam from Prince of Egypt).
Belle has very balanced and feminine oval shape shape, not too broad or narrow, every facial feature is feminine and rather balanced too, her eyes are striking, large, of gorgeous shape and color, there is nothing large or broad about Belle's body yet her waist still stands out as tiny( actually tiny, not not-so-tiny waist that only looks so because huge hips). Belle is perfect and resembles Marion Cotillard, one of the most gorgeous actresses nowadays(imho), as well as Olivia de Havilland, one of the most gorgeous woman of last century( imho again). Belle is the my most beautiful princess and I think that her name couldn't suit her more.
