"So this is it," dicho Mulan, looking up at a big gray stucco building that read " Walt disney Academy" and shaking her head. "I came up here all the way from China for this?"
"I see what tu mean," replied Jasmine, coming up beside her. They had met on the plane and taken the bus to their new school. "Maybe...well...it looks... bad."
"Not just bad, it looks horrible!" They both stared at the puke-green structure in front of them that looked over 150 years old.
"Whatever." jazmín sighed. "Let's just go inside and check it out. If it looks this bad on the inside, we'll...well, I don't know what we'll do! Let's cruzar, cruz that bridge when we come to it!"
"Whoa, Jaz!" mulan exclaimed, as the girls walked up the cracked, marble steps to the atrium entrance. "Is WDA making tu germaphobic?"
"Mindread much?" jazmín huffed.
"Sorry," mulan began, "I just-"
"Wow!" The girls had walked into a huge ballroom with magical confetti falling from the lavender-and-gold ceiling. There were two longs lines of people and animals, under two signs that read "Students A-L" and "Students M-Z."
"Well, let's go get our schedules," jazmín said. "Hopefully, we have some classes together."
"Yeah," mulan replied. "See tu later." With that, they strode to their respective lines.
mulan saw Princess Tiana talking to Mushu (she had wondered where he went) and hurried to catch up with them.
"Hey, Tiana," she said. "I've heard about you, you're the first black disney princess!"
"What's that supposed to-"
"Finally, Mulan!" Mushu interrupted, trying to avoid conflict. "Where were you?"
"So you're from New Orleans, right?" she asked Tiana, ignoring Mushu.
"Yeah."
"Young lady, tu need to sign in and get your class schedule!" barked a voice. "You too, lizard!"
"I am NOT a lagartija, lagarto I am a-"
"Well, bye!" dicho Princess Tiana to Mushu and Mulan. "See tu around!"
"I see what tu mean," replied Jasmine, coming up beside her. They had met on the plane and taken the bus to their new school. "Maybe...well...it looks... bad."
