Those damn Princesses get all the attention!
Those damn Princesses get all the attention!
“It’s no good, Kida,” Jane sighed. “We’ll never get into the Princess section.”
“Which part of Princess Kida do they not understand?” she frowned, watching the children gather around the nine figures in the centre of the street.
“Well, technically, you’re a Queen,” Jane sighed. “But our films aren’t successful enough to ever be called Princess movies. mulan isn’t a Princess but she’s bringing in the riches. That’s how it works.”
“But Tarzan did rather well!” Meg lifted an eyebrow. “Which is más than can be dicho for my ‘blockbuster’.”
“Consider yourselves lucky!” Eilonwy cried out. “I was attacked por a skeleton in a cloak, chased, kidnapped… One of my friends almost died! And what recognition do I get?”
“Who’s she?” Kida whispered.
“Not a clue,” Jane whispered back.
“All because I didn’t sing,” she carried on. “All because my film was a little dark. All because I was against an army of the freakin’ dead!”
“Hah!” Esmeralda laughed from the corner. “I was lusted after por a disgusting man, trapped in a cathedral and almost burned at the stake.”
“Well…” Eilonwy pouted. “Well at least people have your barbie doll. At least tu have fans. At least there’s always someone going ‘Esmeralda’s pretty!’ o ‘I amor Esmeralda!’ o ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame is my favourite disney movie!’”
“Look, I get your point,” Esmeralda sighed. “But there’s only one way we’re going to get what we deserve. We do what I did - if something’s not right, tu put it right.”
“Whatever do tu mean?” Jane frowned.
“The only way we’re going to get justice is if we go out there and make sure the Princesses aren’t making the money!”
“How will we do that, ruin their musical numbers?” Meg laughed.
“If tu want,” Esme shrugged. “All we have to do is disguise ourselves, sneak in as extras and disney is our’s for the taking!”
“Won’t someone miss us?” Alice asked. “I do get asked for my autograph on occasion tu know… When that bastard Tim aparejo, burton isn’t beseeching my name!”
“Sister, that’s for another day,” Meg grabbed her hand. “Have tu ever wondered what you’d look like in a big rosado, rosa ball gown?”
“No, not really,” Alice shook her head.
“Well too bad, shorty,” she followed Esmeralda as she walked off, pulling Alice along. “Ever wanted to meet Ariel?”
“Oh yes!” Alice smiled. “But she’s over there. Where are we going?”
“Clopin has tons of costumes,” Esmeralda called back. “His fan base is persistent, but rather small. He has way too much spare time on his hands.”
“Clopin?” Jane ran after them, pulling Kida along too. “He is rather dashing, isn’t he?” Esmeralda looked back, raising an eyebrow. “Erm, o not.” Kida giggled at her.

It wasn’t long until they reached a less busy section of the park scattered with caravans and tents belonging to the dozens of gypsies that were receiving little attention. Esmeralda headed off to the large one in the centre and walked in, the other heroines tagging along. Clopin was sat in a chair near the middle of the room, drinking from a bottle and laughing with a group of gypsies surrounding him.
“Esme, ma fille!” he called, smiling as he saw her enter. His face fell when he saw the crowd. “Did tu have to bring the whole park with you?”
“Clopin, this is important,” she frowned. “Stop drinking your life away.”
“It depends how important it is,” he shrugged, taking another swig from his bottle.
“How would tu like some más fans?”
“Oh, non!” he cried, his face turning pale. “Those girls yesterday were ravenous.” The heroines giggled and Clopin blushed. “How are tu going to get fans, anyway? We’ve been sitting here for over 10 years now.”
“I have a plan,” Esme smirked. “We’ll need your old costume trunk.”
“Fine,” Clopin sighed, handing his drink to a gypsy siguiente to him and jumping to his feet. “Are they coming too?”
“Oui, monsieur,” Meg winked and the other heroines burst out laughing as Clopin blushed.
“Yes, well,” he started to walk off. “It’s over here.”
They all followed him through a back exit of the tent over to a caravan not far away. They all bundled inside although it was a tight squeeze and the heroines perched themselves on the few seats and other surfaces as Clopin lifted up a large el maletero, tronco and carried it over to them.
“What exactly do tu want?” he asked.
“We’re sneaking into the Princess films and sabotaging them in the hope of making our own films más successful,” Esmeralda smiled innocently. “We’ll need to describe ourselves as extras and sneak in thanks to the upped security after Giselle thought it would be funny to send that stampede of animales through all the indoor sets.”
“Whatever happened to Giselle?” Kida asked.
“Who knows?” Jane asked.
“Who cares?” Meg laughed. “She was just as irritating as those princesses.”
“Fine, Clopin sighed. “Where are tu going first?”
“The Little Mermaid!” Alice smiled. “You promised I could meet Ariel.”
“I don’t do mermaids,” he glared. “Not since that run in during Peter Pan’s lagoon.”
“What run in?” Esme frowned.
“I was drunk!” he shrugged. Esmeralda rolled her eyes.
“Well, there is the bit after Ursula turns Ariel human,” Jane said. “She goes to live in his palace for three days.”
“How do tu know that?” Eilonwy asked.
“I do rather amor that film,” she blushed.
“We’ll just put tu all in pretty rosado, rosa ball gowns then,” Clopin grabbed a handful of dresses from the el maletero, tronco and walked outside again. All the heroines jumped up and followed him to another tent around the corner. It had cornered-off sections with curtains and dressing tables.
“If you’d paid más attention during my film,” Esme scowled at all the heroines in shock. “Then you’d know that I dressed in such a tent for the Festival of Fools.”
“Yes, Clopin’s in that bit!” Jane beamed. Clopin turned around to look at her and she blushed.
“Erm, tu should all go change into these then,” he handed out the dresses and pushed them into separate cubicles. When they were all out of sight, he sat down in front of one of the dressing tables, leaned back and rested his feet on the table. After a few minutes, they began to come out, all looking just like any other The Little Mermaid extra.
“Clopin, it’s perfect!” Esmeralda smiled. “I’ll be back later.”
“You’re not bringing them again, are you?” he gulped.
“Of course,” she laughed. “There are eight other Princess films!” The heroines followed Esmeralda outside and Meg gave Clopin a crafty wink, making him turn even redder than before.

“Off to Eric’s kingdom then!” Meg smiled. “He is very hot in those tight trousers.”
“We’re not there to-” Jane began.
“Oh, but yes!” Esmeralda laughed. “If Ursula can do it, why can’t we?”
“But we might completely ruin my favourite-” Jane started again.
“That’s the point,” Meg interrupted. “Unless tu want to be sat with short stuff here drinking té all day.”
“Fine,” Jane sighed. “Ariel’s section is over here.”
They all walked towards the sea-themed archway and wandered through the masses of fans running away smiling and laughing. No-one paid any attention to them.
“So this is what it’s like to be near them,” Eilonwy clasped her hands to her mouth. “This is what fans look like!”
They walked amongst the bustling crowd until they came to the backstage area. It was full of exhausted staff looking exceedingly grumpy and snappy.
“Excuse me,” Alice squeaked. “Where is The Little Mermaid set?”
“Down there,” a man in a cangrejo suit frowned. “You’re late.” They all went quickly along to the entrance, a small door guarded por a man holding a list.
“Extras!” Esmeralda smiled, giving the guard her most seductive look.
“Go right in,” he stared at her as she walked past, almost in a trance.
“How do tu do that?” Kida hissed.
“Gypsy charm,” she winked.
Before long, they found themselves on a playa near a large rock. It was night and they could see a ship in the distance surrounded por fireworks.
“We’re early,” Jane said. “That’s the bit where Ariel first sees Eric, and rescues him from a shipwreck caused por a great storm.”
“What great storm?” Meg asked. Just then, there was a clap of thunder and rain began to fall on the ocean. The playa remained completely dry.
“We have to go!” Jane cried, running towards the buildings. “This is the playa Ariel brings Eric to!” They all followed her towards the town, waiting for their big moment to arrive.

Hi!! I am an old member of this club, I'm not sure if anyone here is been around long enough to remember me, but disney is kind of my religion. It adds sweetness in my life, and my favorito! characters are the disney Princesses. So I am updating my favorito! DP lista (I think it's been 5 o 6 years since I last wrote one), so here we go! (Sorry if there's some bad english, I'm brazilian..)

14) Jasmine

Jasmine may be the one DP I dislike. She screams feminism and independece during the whole movie, but she does very little to establish herself as a strong, level-headed o feminist character....

Before we start out, a big thank tu to the 34 users that publicado their lists! All of your opinions were integral in making this an accurate representation of the club’s collective thoughts.

11. Merida (Points: 273)
Sadly, though not surprisingly, Pixar's princess is still considered the least attractive of the DPs. Though a growing group of people have begun to appreciate her looks, most users dicho that they didn't like her round face shape and lack of distingushable eyelashes. In fact, the only thing many people liked about her appearance was her long, curly red hair- though even...

I amor imagining DP and their fashion, the kind of jewelry they may wear, the kind of parties they'd have. I have done a couple of these before for wedding themes and jewelry. This articulo mainly talks about their signature fashion style.

Snow White:
I think midi-length, flared skirts will suit her chirpy and joyful personality. She's the kind who'd want to keep her dresses simple yet playful and have a bit of color palette to explore in her wardrobe. Short gloves will also look lovely on her. Layering in falda will match her upbeat and vibrant persona.
Best Color: all shades of red. Black...

Maybe i some día , time hace was guilty of calling some of the princesses "bad role models" , i was wrong, i realized that the fact that i don't like a character o don't agree with, them doesn't mean they are bad role models.

To be fair,i find some people saying "Princess are a bad role model for girls because "insert princess name and reasons here" . But i don't see anyone saying a freaking thing about the disney male characters . I did an articulo in the disney club
link

It was supossed to be a parody of how people critize female characters but never say a thing about males. Nobody actually...

I hope that tu have a great time in Europe, Anna!
I hope that you have a great time in Europe, Anna!
Hi guys, since the Asian batch made it through the front page of Fanpop. Here are the European batch of Anna!

Italian (Serena Rossi)

My first impression on Serena (no, not her namesake frozen costar, Serena Autieri) is that she sounds a bit like Kristen Bell. But, one thing is that her voice is slightly deeper than Kristen and en general, general good job! (Ratings: 9.5/10)

French (Emmylou Homs)

When I first heard her canto amor is an Open Door, she sounds very bubbly and gentle at the same time. She does not sound heavy at all! (Ratings: 10/10)

Dutch (Nootje Herlaar)

Okay, I found out that Nootje is actually...

Many thanks to M_gann who helped me come up with this idea and organized the first few polls, as well as to everyone who voted, commented, and publicado their lists! Now it's finally time to take a look at which DPs we think are most popular and compare them to which DPs actually are most popular. Please take a look at link as well!

11. Merida
Actual rank: 10

Wow, I am legitimately shocked that Merida is más popular than we thought she was. I've always viewed her as Fanpop's most hated princess, but I guess that's not true anymore! Unfortunately she's still very unpopular.

I'm going to tentatively...

So Rapunzel had a great beginning. "A single drop of sunlight" fell to the ground and created a flor (?) that "had the ability to heal the sick and injured." Then because the queen was dying, the flor was mashed up and dado as sopa to the queen who got well again. And the magic affected her baby. The magic golden flor caused the newborn to be born with a head full of hair, and already extremely active.

Wait, what?

Did Gothel take her right after she was born? Isn't that dangerous? Shouldn't Rapunzel be with her mother, be nurtured por her and everything. Like, come on, at least wait until...

Since nobody had done this, I thought that I could write this articulo since I amor Enya's songs!

1) Fairytale

The 3 classic princesses will definitely amor this song, as the título says it all. The música is very soothing and yet at the same time mesmerizing!

2) Wild Child

Ariel and jazmín are considered fiercely independent, so this song suits their spunky background!

3) Anywhere Is

Belle wants adventure, so this energetic song suits her. Especially during the 'Belle Reprise' scene!

4) Memory of Trees

Since Pocahontas is an environmentalist, this sad song will be good and I would imagine her...

This is my updated princess fan list. The biggest change is a swap-out/trade-placements of two princesses. These are my opinions. I will explain as I go.

1. mulan
I’ll probably be a fan of her my whole life. She’s the most sacrificial character in the whole disney Princess lineup, and I can’t help admiring her for overcoming her numerous flaws. mulan is a convincing heroine, and her humaneness is something that I find missing in some of the Revival Era girls.

2. Ariel
She was my childhood favorite, but she doesn’t seem to diminish in my...
