Tiana the swamp bender

Avatar/Legend of Korra are without a doubt the best TV shows I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Because of that, I immediately fell in amor with these beautiful cruzar, cruz over pieces. The Pocahontas airbender is spot on, and the jazmín firebender is visually stunning! Look at the colours!

As a person with a amor of fashion (by which I mean pretty sparkly dresses <3), the Royal Jewels series redesigns the princesses in a más elaborate and beautiful fashion. I would happily wear any of these dresses any day! I adore the focus on jewellery especially. The cultural influences, specifically on jazmín and Mulan, are incredibly pretty.

I personally amor this style of gritty and dark art. There is something very creative and thought-provoking in taking something innocent and twisting it so our perspectives shift. Jef also writes really interesting story to accompany each princess, which I amor reading.

Not only is this comic beautifully drawn and very creative, but it actualización EVERY WEEK. I personally adore the marvel references, and the occasional cameos of other disney characters. Merida is my favourite in this comic!

324anna Great article! I am obsessed with Disney fanarts, so I really enjoyed seeing your opinions. :) The pocket princesses are my personal favourite, they are hilarious. I also love the Twisted Disney series, very cool art style and interesting concept ( and I had no idea she also wrote stories to accompany the pictures, that's even more amazing!). As a huge fan of Avatar, I love the Disney/Avatar crossovers as well. It's great to see what element would each princess bend, the gorgeous clothes are also a plus. (just a correction, the artist is actually racookie3 http://racookie3.deviantart.com/gallery/2945035/Disney the girl you showed in the link has the pictures as her favourites, she's not the creator of them though). I didn't know about the other collection, but it seemed lovely, I especially adored Cinderella's jewellery.

324anna And I agree with @MaidofOrleans, the historically accurate Disney Princesses fanarts are simply amazing, you should definitely check them out if you haven't.

scarletunicorn Nice article! It's always nice discussing these things. :) I'm on the fence on Pocket Princesses. On one hand the art style is very cute and there are some clever jokes here and there, but I somewhat disagree with the way Amy characterizes the princesses at times. I don't think Cinderella for example is this quirky OCD cleaning freak as she portrays her to be, nor Mulan as this girly-despising feisty tomboy. (nor do I think her and Merida would be friends, but that's besides the point).

I love articles like this because I always get recommended fan art in the comments. @342Anna How silly of me! I've fixed it now :) @Scarletunicorn Oh I agree - the princesses are total architectures and not the most accurate, but I love the series all the same. I think you're right, but I still adore the series.

AudreyFreak all good... though I agree with SU, plus PP fans tend to be really obnoxious on Facebook (some of them racist even). Don't try to say anything less than glowing praise about Amy's characterizations or the fans will go at you.

scarletunicorn She once made a really weird remark concerning race in her comics, where Mulan was complaining about too many blondes in the DP. I found that weird, why would Mulan worry about that...

Diazdiaz95 Yes, yes, yes these are great but now they make me wish that I could draw nicely...no,no,no. Anyway, I hadn't seen the first collection before and it looks great and that Mulan picture, fierce. I love the twisted Mulan too but I think Snow White is my favorite in that collection. Yeah, Lana del Rey's version perfectly matches the twisted Aurora picture and now I've got to read those stories.

She would find Cindy boring and totally not connect to her. She has no sense of adventure o curiosity, her story isn't exciting to Kida, Kida's not a romantic so she would take zero interest in Cindy and forget about her instantly.

Same as Cinderella- she would take a little más interest in her for her spunk, but find her too childish and boring as well.

It's no surprise that she is number 10, don't get me wrong her eyes are okay, but the shape is weird and there is no color in them (I know that this is what Chinese eyes are supposed to be like, but I'm not a fan of Chinese eyes).

Ariel would find cenicienta boring. She's too calm, rooted, and subtle in her humor. She doesn't have anything to relate to her. cenicienta doesn't have any grand discoveries o outbursts, which Ariel would love. Ariel is easily distracted and hard to interest, so cenicienta wouldn't hold her attention. She wouldn't get excited about her descions o anything. Ariel wouldn't get involved nor relate to Cinderella's story.

13) Merida- Before tu all roll your eyes, I have to admit that when I saw the first commercial for Valiente I was so excited and forced my boyfriend to take me to it the día after it came out. I amor her hair and how generally courageous she was. First of all, I really disliked Brave. Its story held a number of plotholes, and Merida was quite a selfish character, to me. She whines for the majority of her film, and acts like an unrelatable goofball for the other half. Who would risk their mother's life just to "change their fate".
