Alright, so ever since I saw enredados way back when, my mind has kind of been in a tizzy over a lot of things. Mostly, my amor for dicho movie, Flynn Rider, and my desperate want to play Mother Gothel in any alternate productions of the movie.

But also: can frying pans really work the way they do in the movie?

I'm not one to usually harp upon factual things in movies, especially animated ones, but I figured it would be a ton of fun to figure out the mathematical (scientific? I'm not sure how to classify it, really) logical-ness behind fighting bad guys with cocina appliances.

Now, if the average frying pan is, say, according to Wikipedia, 8-to-12-inches in diameter, and are made of cast iron. Using fancy mathematical stuffs and things, we can wager to guess that these pans are decently heavy. Turning to online stores, I looked at different pans, of the following weights:

4 lbs (Williams-Sonoma, 12 inches)
3.5 lbs (Amazon, 8 inches)

There weren't that many pans with weights listed, unfortunately, but I can wager to guess all average frying pans are around the 4 lbs. mark.

So that's 4 pounds of condensed force flying at someone - is it enough to knock them out? To google we go!

An articulo from LiveScience states this: "A cubic inch of bone can in principle oso, oso de a load of 19,000 lbs. (8,626 kg) o más — roughly the weight of five standard pickup trucks — making it about four times as strong as concrete." So, us humans are pretty resilient - but what about the big ol' KO?

Another quote from LiveScience gives us something close to the answer. "A blow that gives the head enough spin to go from 0 to 43,000 rpm in just one segundo has a 25 percent chance of knocking a person unconscious."

LiveScience is talking about punching, so we have to account for the fact that tu can do a lot más damage with a cast iron skillet versus a fist - the logical part of my brain says with that pan smacking someone, tu probably have closer to a 50% chance of knocking someone unconscious.

So could Flynn and Rapunzel plausibly hit guards with that trusty pan and watch them fall like dominoes? No. Are they complete goners? Also no.

And there tu have it, the math/science/word jumble behind the frying pan battles in Tangled!

Au revior!

Snow White

■In The Muppets at Walt disney World, Snow White was the disney character who had the biggest part in the story, besides Mickey Mouse.

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hello everybody, I just wanted to inform that this articulo is completely my personal option. There is absolutely no need to have a hissy fit if my opinion doesn’t conform to yours. Feel free to comentario what your own ranking is if tu wish. Anyways, let’s get on with this ranking.

#14 Merida

“I’m a boy with long hair.”
“I’m a boy with long hair.”

Merida is one of the most hideous animated females ever. She just screams ugly, unfeminine and manliness. She is the epitome of what’s wrong with strong female characters (or just females in general). Her head shape is hideous and makes her look...

Another fun idea that came to mind, we take two princesses see just how much they have in common. I wanted Pocahontas and Rapunzel first because Punz is a pretty good balance of qualities found in the classic, renaissance and revival princesses so it's easy to do this with her. Plus, it's a very common misconception that Poca is just this peaceful spiritual wise soul, and that's only half of her personality. What better way to debunk that than to compare her to the one of the bubbliest princesses

At first glance because Pocahontas looks mature and Rapunzel looks youthful, some would assume...

This is my guess:
Aurora:I always thought she's tall, but she can be medium height either. I would say 1.70 m,but she can be under that too.
Pocahontas:She's very tall, almost as tall as John Smith and he was tall. She has really long legs too.I guess 180-182 m.
Cinderella: I think she's average height. She's shorter than Aurora. Anything from 165-169 m.She can look tall sometimes.
Esmeralda:She's not a disney Princess, but I read somewhere that she's the tallest of all disney Princesses.
My guess is anything from 180 to 184 m.Don't know if she and Pocahontas would be same heght.
Elsa:I read that she...

Yesterday morning, when I looked up information for Frozen's sequel,I found something that baffled my mind beyond belief. It was an article, which stated that Idina Menzel herself,is a supporter for making Elsa a lesbian and giving her a girlfriend.
Where the hell do I even begin with this idea...? Well, let's start with what my reaction towards it was.
When I first saw this yesterday,I was both sad and furious.Even when I had class in the morning,I couldn't shake this out of my head.I think this is even worse than that time they dicho they're going to mostrar a más playful side of Elsa!
Before we...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this articulo ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in popular culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Hello guys! Here's the first part of the countdown dedicated to disney Princesses Couples Month! All DP kisses were included. The most part of the kisses eliminated are from sequels, but there are also some kisses from original cine that I've never expected to see out. The segundo part will be subir once the countdown will end!

31.Pocahontas and John Rolfe: First Kiss.

It was to be expected, this couple isn't appreciated a lot. Their faces weren't even seen when they kissed; definitively it's the worst DP kiss.

I hate Pocahontas with John Rolfe... ~LauraLane

30.Cinderella and Prince Charming:...

Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Why don't they sell princess dresses like these? I'd buy the heck out of these!
Since it's Veteran's Day, I thought I'd use some rare time off to write an article. The only articulo idea I could think of that wouldn't take all día to research and explore would be a lista of princess "peasant" dresses rated in order from the ones I like least to the one I'm seriously considering commissioning my Ren Faire friends to sew for me.

Most people seem to amor the princesses' fancy, sparkly, poofy ballgowns, o their iconic princess dresses. I personally was never a fan. I'm a real stickler for comfort and practicality. Ballgowns tend to be made with a material I find uncomfortable...

First of all ignorant Ariel haters are advised not to read this because I am being brutally honest and not holding back. For those who say I'm being harsh they mostrar no respect for Ariel's fans and treat her like she's some kind of heartless monster so I don't owe them one bit of respect and will not mostrar them any because they don't deserve it. Also I will not be doing the cliche of comparing Ariel to Merida, I've already done that in my Ariel vs Merida article. Besides, people do that enough already and I can't stand this war between them, it's really annoying. However I will be comparing her...

Third articulo in three days? I have a life..heh...heh..ANYWAYS, I've heard multiple times people calling Elsa complex, but they usually don't give an argument to back that up, so I decided to write this! I've also heard a lot of complaints from frozen haters asking how Elsa is so complex, so I'm escritura this for that as well. Anyway let's get started! I hope tu enjoy! :)

Characteristics of a Complex Character (gotten online):

1. He o she undergoes an important change as the plot unfolds.

2. The changes he o she experiences occur because of his o her actions o experiences in the story.

3. Changes...
