Hello! I've decided to start up a new series titled "Character In Review" where I will be making artículos for each of the disney Princesses "reviewing" them and giving my opinions on them and their movie. I plan on going in chronological order which is why Snow White is first, but it just so happens that I'm starting with my favorito! princess ^^ Anyway, I hope tu enjoy, onto the article!

Opening Thoughts:

Snow White hasn't always been one of my favorito! princesses, in fact she was once rather low on my list. I just dismissed her for being traditional and personality-less, but just in this last año she's stolen my corazón and I've been in amor with her ever since. I amor how Snow White is a relatively confident person; she takes charge of situations and isn't afraid to be forceful with her opinions, yet Snow White is still respectful. I amor that while she's confident, she also has insecurities, shown through her wanting everyone to like her. I also amor the strength that Snow White possesses. The fact that she got through her horrible life with a smile on her face is inspirational and astounding to me. I also amor how playful and motherly she is with the dwarfs. Though in the end, the true reason I amor Snow White is the neverending smile she can put on my face. She's just such a unique character and is so different from the characters we see today, and I amor her joyfulness and hope. Snow White is amazing and I know that she'll always be a favorito! of mine.

Her Intelligence:

Snow White is often painted as one of the dumbest princesses, namely because of her eating of the apple. First off, being naive doesn't necessarily mean not intelligent. Also, Snow White does several intelligent things that go unnoticed with a lot of people. The fact that she goes through such a traumatic experience as almost getting killed, but then can pick herself up and think logically is insane to me. Most people would be so torn up that they'd either give up o be so lost that they wouldn't know what to do, but Snow White has a game plan. She has to find shelter and she almost immediately goes looking for it. Also, Snow's intelligence is shown through her using her strengths to her advantage. She's quite manipulative through her using her charm, cooking, and cleaning to not only get a place to stay, but to get the dwarfs to listen to her. All in all, Snow's naivety (which is greatly exaggerated as is) shouldn't be confused with a lack of intelligence.

Her Intelligence Continued {Apple Eating}:

Snow White certainly isn't nearly as naive as people paint her to be. Yes, she is a bit naive, but Snow didn't know (presumably) that the queen had any powers, so she only was expecting to see the Queen, not some old hag that didn't resemble the queen whatsoever. Also, the birds were attacking the poor old lady, and knowing Snow she's always willing to help someone in need. People say it was foolish for her to eat the apple, but the wishing well did work (she wished for a prince and a prince came) so what's so unrealistic about a magic wishing apple?

Her Confidence and Insecurity:

I amor how Snow White is confident, yet insecure at the same time. She's confident in the fact that she's not scared to go into the dwarf's inicial and boss them around. She's quite assertive and doesn't strike me as a passive character whatsoever. If something isn't going the way she likes, she isn't scared to tell people to get it done, o else. She probably likes to take control of situations as she's spent her entire life forced into becoming presumably a servant to the Queen. While confident, she's also insecure. When she first sees the prince, she doesn't run away out of shyness, as it's quite obvious in the way she acts around the dwarfs she is not a shy person, but out of the fact that she doesn't look good and she's embarrassed because of that. Also, she wants to be liked por everyone. She makes the entire house nice and tidy for them so they'll like her, and later prays that Grumpy will like her as he's the only one that doesn't seem to like her.

Her Strength:

Snow White is also a lot stronger than dado credit for. The fact that she's survived years of, well, we don't know for sure, but it can't be good, but still maintains her cheerful temperament deserves a prize of it's own. The fact that she's been wishing for the one she loves and right when he comes he's taken away from her, but she doesn't let that bring her down like most people probably would is extremely admirable. She's very, very level headed. After almost being killed, I don't know about you, but I'd for sure be a wreck, but not Snow White. She cries, reasonably, but picks herself together and realizes she needs to find shelter and food. She's very reasonable in the fact that she doesn't let one thing control her emotions. Yes the prince is gone, but she thinks about what's ahead of her instead of that.

Her Strength Continued:

Snow's a trooper, plain and simple. She's fourteen years old, the youngest of all the princesses, and yet despite that arguably has to deal with the most. I find her to be a huge role model in my life. In hard times, I look to her and think about how she remained her cheerful and optimistic temperament despite all that was thrown at her, so why shouldn't I? Snow shows so much strength, it seriously baffles me when people call her weak. Weak because she cries for about five segundos after almost being killed? That's the definition of strength in my book. Snow White has almost been killed, is now homeless and knows that someone is out there looking to still kill her, yet instead of crying crazily, she apologizes to a bunch of animales for scaring them. I MEAN COME ON. She's just such a bundle of optimism and joy despite her terrible childhood and her strength just shines through her brightly.

Her Playfulness and Charm:

She's also quite playful. Laughing at Grumpy when he hits his head and saying, "You must be Grumpy." She has a bit of a cynical side which shows that she isn't always 100% rainbows and sunshine, which is somewhat nice. She's also good at using her charm to get what she wants. She's good at making other people feel bad so she can get what she wants, which is displayed when she's checking the dwarfs hands and keeps talking about how disappointed she is in all of them.

Her Relatability:

It seems no one relates to her nowadays, but the más I look at her personality, the más parallels I see between her and I. I can relate to her always apologizing, even when not needed, her bossiness/leadership skills, her slight insecurity yet seemingly confident manner, her wanting to be liked por everyone, her optimism with others (I'm optimistic when talking to others, pessimistic when talking to myself), and more.

Concluding Thoughts:

To conclude, Snow White is actually a lot más than a happy-go-lucky character; she's got a bit of a zest to her through her bossiness and persuasion, and is confident, yet wants to be loved as well. She's a wonderful princess who deserves so much más amor than she's dado and is truly a phenomenal character.

Thought this was really the perfect time for this light read considering which months I think each DP represents the best. :D I did this based on personality and my perception of how those personalities relate to the 4 seasons as well as each month. I hope tu guys enjoy! My apologies to non-Americans as this is heavily based on my American connotations with these months especially in regards to American holidays. Hope tu guys don't mind!

November: Tiana

Here's my lista of disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their amor grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true o valuable, it's my personal...

Morals, like most things, are subjective.

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

I noticed that sadness seems to be the most popular emotion among people and it’s understandable, no matter how strong tu are, nothing hits tu harder than life. True tu should try your best to get out of a bad situation but in the process, it’s good to make the best out of it. It’s important to be grateful and remember how blessed tu are, a positive attitude goes a long way in order to enjoy your life.

4. Brave

What I really like with Valiente is that it’s easy to relate to because disagreements and miscommunication...

Ah, feminism and disney Princess. Such a complicated relationship. Now I'm not an expert, especially being a guy but the topic of feminism in relation to the DPs has always intrigued me. I'm gonna try my hand at ranking the princesses in terms of agency, independence, heroism and other aspects to figure out which one of them is the most feminist. I'm trying to expand my escritura skills so this is gonna be división, split into three parts, starting with the bottom four.

WARNING: No Anna and Elsa in this countdown, so let's begin.

11. Aurora
Sorry guys, but I'm one of those people who believes that feminism...

Yesterday I wrote an articulo about my favorito! song from each DP Movie, today I'm doing an articulo about my favorito! song scene from each DP Movie, the only requirement for this was that the song in the scene has to mainly be sung por a character from the movie (this rule doesn't apply to Brave), also the song scene can of course have two songs in the scene

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - With A Smile And A Song

This movie has many great song scenes, it was actually a bit hard to pick a favorite, but this one is currently my favorite, first of all it has one my favorito! songs from the...

Well, according to my own preferences mulan is the complete arrangement of relatable and admirable. She's always dutiful, she always tries to please her parents and her society. She often fails at it, but she tries her best. When she loses hope in pleasing her family, she figures she would rather sacrifice herself for her father then see him die doing what she's told. She even does such, to change her society. She takes a risk to have some value to her, which is achieving her own goals as well as helping the people she holds dear. She's clumsy, she messes up and makes bad decisions, but ultimately...
