"Pitch, I need your help," Gothel pleaded.

He walked behind her, fiddling with her gray hair. "Why, Gothel, did tu do something to your hair?"

She quickly flipped her hair away from him. Defensively, she said, "That is why I need you! Will tu help me o not?"

"Hmm," Pitch told her, "What do tu want, and what do I get?"

"I need tu to help me kidnap a young girl. As for your prize, tu can have me."

After long conversations, Gothel and Pitch agreed on a plan. After figuring out Gothel couldn't steal the princess' hair, she knew she would have to take the girl for herself. The king and queen were protective of their daughter, so guards kept the castillo out of close reach of strangers. That's where Pitch came in. He used his powers to transport him and Gothel into the castillo and back out.

"Can I see her?" Pitch asked.

Gothel covered the young princess with her shawl. "No," she demanded, "I won't let your powers affect hers."

Pitch grunted, but questioned her once again, "Where are whe taking her?"

"We?"

"We, as in tu are my prize, and she is a part of tu now, so let me see her," he angrily told her.

Gothel hesitantly uncovered the chal, mantón from the child. "Don't touch her."

"Rapunzel," he whispered.

"What?" Gothel said, confused.

"Rapunzel is her name now."

Gothel dicho nothing más and held onto Pitch's arm, waiting to be transported.

Rapunzel sat on the window sill, looking out in the dusk sky. She sang her song, while her mother gently brushed her hair. All Rapunzel wanted to do was to please her mother. She was five now, meaning Gothel had kept her for three years.

"Mother?" Rapunzel called.

"Yes, dear?"

"Do tu think I could go outside?"

Gothel stopped brushing Rapunzel's hair. She slammed down the brush as she asked, "Why, why would tu want to do that?"

She scooped Rapunzel into her arms. "It looks fun out there. I really like the way the birdies fly around."

"Oh, honey," Gothel lay Rapunzel in her bed. She strolled toward the window to close the shutters. Gothel continued, "You won't like it out th--"

Before her mother could close the shutters, Rapunzel tugged on her dress. "Look, mother!" She pointed out the window.

"What do tu see Rapunzel?"

"Look! It's... black. Looks like sand, Mother!" Rapunzel insisted.

Gothel hurried to keep the darkness out. "Go, Rapunzel, hide!"

She ran to the wardrobe and left the door open a sliver to watch. Gothel quickly shut all the curtains and shutters, but it was too late. Pitch emerged from the darkness of the tower.

"You forgot that I could teleport, my darling," Pitch said.

He walked around the room, touching all of their trinkets. Pitch picked up the brush. "No!" Gothel screamed and jumped toward him. "I... need that." She snatched the brush from his hands.

"The child, where is she?" Pitch asked, concerningly.

"Uh," Gothel didn't look him in his eyes. "She's asleep."

Pitch leaned toward Gothel and whispered in her ear, "You see, that imposes that you're lying, considering that the cama is empty."

Gothel slumped down in the chair. "Why are tu here Pitch?"

"To see you, of course," he came in closer.

Gothel pushed him away, "Pitch, I can't. Our deal... I can't keep my end of the bargain, because I am preoccupied with Rapunzel. tu know that, can't tu understand?"

Pitch quickly turned away. "I knew this would happen, and quite frankly I'm glad it did."

She quickly jumped out of her chair and grasped his arms. She begged, "Please don't take her, Pitch. I need her."

"I guess... Well, I will need something else."
Pitch looked Gothel straight in her eyes. "I want her." He pointed toward the wardrobe.

Gothel stepped in between him and the wardrobe. "The whole point of this deal is for me to keep her. For the fiftieth time, Pitch, I need her."

Pitch laughed, "I wouldn't dare separate a 'mother' from her daughter."

Gothel rolled her eyes, "Pitch, get to the point!"
She demanded.

"Almost, persay... visitation rights," Pitch suggested.

Gothel chuckled, but then dicho calmly, "Fine, but once a year. Let's say... her birthday."

"What a lovely conversation Gothel. I'll see tu soon," Pitch spoke as he disappeared into the darkness of the tower.

Gothel heaved a sigh of relief. She opened the shutters and curtians to let light in, only to see the moon. Gothel sat on the window sill, soaking up the moonlight. Suddenly, Rapunzel emerged and climbed onto her lap.

"Who was that man, mother?"

Gothel stroked her hair, "No one tu will have to worry about, my dear."
"As for your prize, tu can have me."

Ah, the Native American Beauty. She doesn't quite look Native American, does she? I agree. Well, that's because she wasn't modeled after a Native American!

Dweeb started making these countdown, but she never made one with Mulan's outfits, so I decided to make one since in honor of mulan month.

During the countdown, people noticed that, even if they don't put mulan high on their best dressed list, all of her outfits are pretty and she has nice clothes in general.

There are 9 outfits that mulan wore, and I separated them in 3 categories:

____________________________________________________

Casual clothes
Or lets call it what it really is- underwear. People don't really like those outfits because they are simple, not very pretty and they weren't worn...

10.The Chinese Recruits vs. Themselves
What can be said? This is a hilarious battle that poor mulan started that resulted in a big pile up at the end. But it's not a serious battle, nor is it significant to the movie in any way. It's just a fun little fight.

"Hilarious, but not really significant. :P" (aiemerrysirius)

"This is pure silliness." (tigerranma)

Basically I'm going to address what people tend to think about the princesses, when it is indeed not true, o at least not entirely.

Snow White
Can't really say anything about Snow White. People are really dead on about her. She sweet, caring, joyful, old fashioned and kinda stupid. I wish I could defend her but I can't. All the negative stuff people say about Snow are completely true, as well as the positive. The only misconception I can come up with, is that everyone thinks she's happy all the time. But there's one scene where she's crying but she almost immediately bounces back. So,...

"True amor begins when nothing is looked for in return." -Antoine de Saint-Exupery

This really shouldn't come to anybody's surprise. Throughout most of the film Shang believes that mulan is actually a man. I don't doubt for one segundo that they don't amor and respect each other, but we don't get to see any romance between them (not including the sequel). They never dance, never serenade each other with a romantic song.
"I like that Mulan's and Shang's amor story starts with a friendship - not that we see much of the actual amor story, but what's there...

In honor of the beautiful Princess of the Month, Ariel, I decided to write this articulo and decide what the most popular/favorite song is. Here we go...

 "Fathoms Below"
"Fathoms Below"

"I'll tell tu a tale of the bottomless blue
And it's hola to the starboard, heave-ho
Look out lad a mermaid be waiting for you
In mysterious fathoms below
Fathoms below, below
From whence wayward westerlies blow
Where Triton is king and his merpeople sing
In mysterious fathoms below
Below, below
Mysterious fathoms below"

This is the opening song from The Little Mermaid. This is where we first meet Prince Eric, and most of...

I thought it would be good to see in which order are anterior hairstyles eliminated. I would specially like to thank to all people who were voting, because we had some issues, like rigging and that, so I have to redo half of this, but I hope that results are almost fair

40.Mulan’s soldier updo:
“It's not pretty, she looks like a guy which is kinda the point” (KataraLover)

This hairstyle was eliminated with 50% among 40 other hairstyles in the first round. No wonder, I mean, look at it

39. Ariel with hat:
“She looks like Icabod Crane” (founten)

Some people don't even remember...

After all the hype, merchandise and racial debate The Princess and the Frog finally made it to the big screen, mermelada packed with a variety of different aspects that where inspired por other media. However not one of my favourite princess films, I can appreciate it was a good attempt and can enjoy certain aspects of its story. Now lets look at the concoction of literature, anterior films and art stirred together in the Gumbo pot to make Disney's latest fairy tale.

The original text that the film's plot was loosely based of which is a novel released only 7 years prior in 2002 with the title...

Well, Diluka wanted another one, and here it is. Yeah, I don’t follow the order of the cine this time around; I’ll jump a little bit between the earlier and the later ones. And with “The Little Mermaid” I think it’s the best to work through the elements of the story point to point to show, where disney moves away from the fuente text and where it (surprisingly) doesn’t. But before we come to that, I want to point out something: The fuente text is in this case much different compared to the ones of the Grimm fairy tales. Those were a collection of preexisting oral lore. While the...
