MAJOR: PHILOSOPHY
Specialization: undecided

MINOR: MUSICAL THEATRE
Stereotype: dreamer

PHILOSOPHY MAJOR

Probably not what you’re expecting, but I hope to mostrar that Aurora is very suited to philosophy.

To begin with, in Aurora's bedroom - if we look closely - we will see that she has two books. Being the 14th century (a century before Gutenberg's printing press) not only would libros be very expensive and rare but literacy rates were very low - even lower considering her demographic: sixteen, female, peasant. por having libros at this time, education / knowledge is extremely important in the household and Aurora is most likely very well educated (=at least literate).

Perceptive and Curious

The most important point first: when Aurora goes walking in the woods, she doesn’t just observe nature, but she preguntas it. Not the arguably más basic W’s (=who, what, when, where, o how), but “why”. She already knows the respuestas to the others, but she doesn’t understand why (=the cause, reason, o purpose, etc..) for the behaviour of the animals.

She devotes a whole song which not only preguntas her ongoing observations of biology (=I wonder why each little bird...) but also preguntas if such observations could apply to herself (=If my corazón keeps singing...).

Even though she has lived a very sheltered and isolated life, she is very perceptive and curious to the world around her - perfect for philosophy.

Level-headedness and Patience

To be a good philosopher, Aurora would need to evaluate different ideas and situations while understanding each point of view. It would be time-consuming as well as hard work (=hard ‘thinking’ work) Aurora did this when she responsibly returned inicial after meeting the stranger, and when she dutifully went along with the betrothal and arranged marriage.

From my personality analysis of Aurora, I believe that she is educated and conscious about betrothal because she knows how socially, politically, and legally important actuación as a princess is. It’s this kind of contextual approach which would help Aurora form a well-supported (philosophical) decision.

Questions the rules

Now, this isn’t to say she’s headstrong, rebellious, o reckless, etc.. Rather, she will think things through, even the 'rules' which are usually assumed. For example, she wonders why the fairy aunts still treat her like a child (in the forest), and when they weren’t happy at her setting a fecha she asked why because, after all, she is sixteen.

As such, not only is she willing to logically think things though, but she is also willing to pregunta her core beliefs and assumptions as well

-

Because of these reasons and personality traits, I think Aurora would be very well suited to philosophy.

Her major is undecided. Not because she lacks focus, but because she's keeping her options open.

MINOR: MUSICAL THEATRE

Aurora, por describing her dream and por acting, dancing, and canto to her ‘dream prince’, is a very creative girl. In fact, she has enough imagination to practice and perform alone. As in her “Once upon a Dream” song, she uses her talent to make costumes and apoyar come alive.

In musical theatre, she can develop and perform the stories which have the themes that she is most interested in: rebellion and love.

She doesn't have an extra-curricular because she has this. Not only is she having fun, but she's getting credit too.

STEREOTYPE: The Dreamer

Rather than studying indoors, Aurora would rather be lectura and thinking quietly under a tree. When she’s not on campus, you’d usually find her in the nearest park; wandering through the woods, wondering about life, and canto to herself. She’s kinda shy but always up for a thoughtful discussion.

Both her subjects are something she can do which suit her quiet, peaceful, and thoughtful personality.

Ok, so I'm going to lista my parte superior, arriba 10 favorito! disney Princess dresses. Since there's 10 spots, one Princess may be in the lista multiple times and another may not be on it at all. Before my number one I will lista honorable mentions that ALMOST made it onto my list. Time to start the list! Keep in mind that this is my opinion, and tu might not agree. Enjoy the article!

10. Belle's oro dress

Maybe it's a tad overrated, but I think it deserves a lot of the attention it gets. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just look at it! And this is coming from someone who hates that color, and even I have to admit...

All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if tu dislike the disney Princesses (and if tu do I don't know why you're here!) o hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend lectura this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if tu wish, to make it shorter.

A lot of disney fans and critics alike accuse the Princesses, specifically the older ones, of "sitting around waiting for a prince", "waiting...

I was bored so I decided to write an articulo about which princesses look like which greek goddesses, since I'm greek and I amor the Greek Mythology. Enjoy!

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine. She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see jazmín as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). Also, Hera protects women which means she's a feminist, again like Jasmine. Another common, is thei history with their husbands. Zeus...
