Misa was talking to her friend Nori about the wedding over the phone.
"No it's not Light, we broke up...mm-hm..yeah...his name's Ryuzaki...last name? ummm...Asahi..?"
Misa sighed a silent sigh of relief when Nori believed it.
"Yeah we're going to have a baby...I don't know yet...no not that far along yet...uh-huh-"
l walked in at that moment.
"Oh, Nori, I have to go. My husband-to-be just walked in," Misa hung up the phone and walked up to L, "hey honey," she hugged him and pecked his lips, "how was work?"
"Same as always," l smiled at her, "how are tu and...?"
"We're fine!" Misa grinned.
"Well good..." l suddenly looked like something was troubling him.
"...L...what's the matter?"
"Hm? Oh...it's nothing just...thinking..."
"About?"
"Well Light dicho something to me and...nothing tu shouldn't be worrying in your condision..."
"L we are soon to be husband and wife. tu are going to have to let me in on your problems with me...that's what married couples do."
l sighed, "...he told me there may be a chance the baby wouldn't make it...like he knew it wouldn't..."
Misa's eyes widened, "he threatened our baby?!?!?!"
l just looked away. Misa scowled and stormed out of the room.
"Where are tu going?" l asked.
"To teach Light a lesson!" Misa shouted and stompped onto the elevator, hitting the button to Light's floor, "no one threatens my child!"

Sunlight poured through the window and filled her room. Saki sat up and stretched. She was now 16 years old. The memory of the día she lost three people who meant the world to her was still fresh in her mind....
She got up and dressed then headed downstairs.
"Any signs of Kira?"
"Not yet," Matt typed away on his laptop, "Still getting the same signals as last time."
"Keep searching," Saki grabbed her capa off the back of the couch, "I'm going out. Contact me if tu find anything," she left and headed down the sidewalk.
16 years...Kira WOULD be caught. She'd see to that.
