Why are batman and The Joker such great opponents?

I mean most people say that they are perfect enemies, so what do tu think that they mean?

Victorfries said:
To summarize :
Joker represents what batman hates most : Chaos
batman represents what Joker loves : Justice to make fun of for long since batman never surrenders.

Pretty much what Victorfries dicho is true. I mean that pretty much sums it up.

Joker is a great arch enemy to batman because Joker is a representation of madness, but so is Batman. The only difference is batman won't cruzar, cruz the line like Joker has.

I think it is that they are polar opposites, but like a magnet drawn to eachother out of for the Joker amusement and batman for duty..Batman on the opposite side reasons and believes in justice while the Joker never reasons and mocks goodness..He is maniacal and without what most deem as reason o remorse so they work well as perfect opponents who without the other would have nothing to challenge themselves with...Heath dicho it best when dangling..and I won't kill tu because you're just too much fun! ....
