Critical Analysis of Twilight

Critical Analysis of Twilight Pregunta
Why is "Twilight" a más divisive and violent trend than other teen fads?
We all know Twilight isn't the first obsession of teenagers. It was preceded por obsessions over things like American Idol, The OC, Harry Potter, MTV, et cetera, et cetera.
On Fanpop, there is no "Critical Analysis of Harry Potter" spot. Mostly because, the fans of the HP spot seem to do that on their own. So what made this spot necessary? Several things. Twilight bred animosity between fans and non-fans, which often escalated into physical violence. Some see shadowy "moral messages" in the libros that they wished to explore. And some wanted to sign a peace treaty to end the various wars within the fandom (IE Team Edward Vs Team Jacob).
But my pregunta is - Why has the Twilight phenomenon warped people's minds más than any other phenomenon? I'm not just talking fans, but of people who don't like the series. Why is there so much drama associated with Twilight?
