I'm told from my Hollywood fuente that Kristen Stewart's actuación should not be judged based on her performance in Twilight. I heard she's actually quite good in other roles.

I don't think it's Stewart's fault that she plays a dry character (or, rather, a character I personally find to be dry and two-dimensional). She plays the character as its written.

I'll be in a minority here, but as someone who doesn't like Twilight and someone who intensely disliked book!Bella I actually very much enjoyed Kristen's actuación and the way she portrayed her heroine, I thought she added some depth to her character and made her less whiny and más dramatic/romantic, thoughtful, sad, I don't know... there was something about her Bella that made me appreciate this character in the movies.

she has ROBERT PATTINSON and TAYLOR LAUTNER around her although she seems to be SO bored... the tone of her voice is always the same, as well as her face expressions!!

NO but she does raise her left eyebrow a lot in Twilight. It irritates me SO MUCH.

Yes. Kristen's a great actress but most people only watch her in the Twilight films. That's why she get's so much negative cred. My favorito! film with her in it is The Runaways. I haven't gotten around to watching Snow White and the Huntsman but I heard she was very good in that film, too.

No. I think it's the character. Kristen Stewart isn't a bad actress, but even someone really talented can't make Bella look decent.
