Apparently today is Avatar's 10th anniversary...here have a fic!

In one año a person could accomplish much.
She had chosen to run away
Run away and not be found.

In two she mostly just stood alone.
Living only off of what the land would give her.
On most nights she was lonely.

The other three years became something of a blur as she counted them off. Everything seemed to be the same old thing. She didn’t know how she’d managed to go for five years all por herself in such a strange place.

She decided after those five years she was tired of being alone, hungry, and silently afraid. Decided that maybe five years was long enough for them to forget her face…and everything else she’d done. Perhaps she could make something of herself.

Something new.

Something different.

On año five she left her makeshift inicial in the Forgetful Valley.
Her cloths were tattered.
Her hair a mess.
She wouldn’t be recognized. She didn’t want to be recognized.

Azula didn’t really know what she’d do when she got back to Hira’a. She hadn’t any money. She hadn’t anything at all aside from her dirty, worn cloths. She was probably lucky to have even that.

On año six she had found herself a place to work.
The Hira’a theater seemed más than happy to hire her.
It was the same one, she realized, that her mother had volunteered at.

On año six she decided that it didn’t matter as long as she had a place to stay and people to talk to. Up until año six Azula never really had a friend who had chosen to care for her without her having to bully them into the friendship. She never had a group of friends that cared for her without her having to buy them expensive things.

They seemed to like her despite her lower class appearance. She thought back to año five when she still didn’t really have anyone to talk to. When she only showed up at the theater to make some money. She still didn’t talk much on año six, but that little group that called themselves her friends, they liked her anyhow. And when she did speak they seemed to listen…to care.

It helped ease the pain when she’d lie awake and long for home. For the times before she’d lost it all.
None of them yet knew about that.
They knew she was sad.
They knew that her sadness is what kept her so quiet on most days.
But they didn’t really know how to make it better.
They still tried.

It was año seven that bought Azula some good fortune. There was one mostrar they put on. She didn’t think it was that wonderful. But the crowd did; it was a sellout. Every time. This just so happened to be the mostrar in which she got the main role.

Her closest friend, his name was Kang-Min, seemed to be the most excited for her. Azula enjoyed his company. He was the one who had managed to pull her out of what seemed like endless sadness. She probably shouldn’t pick favorites, but she liked him the most.

He kept her company. One night he followed her home. Up until año seven, inicial was in a rundown, abandoned shack. Instead of going back to his own cozy house he had chosen to spend the night with her. It was a cold night, he held her quite tightly to himself. Though they both still shivered, they were warm enough.

The siguiente día he bought her an assortment of things; new cloths, some food, a blanket, and some pillows. He gave her a small kiss and dicho he’d see her at work.

año eight was a special year. por this time Azula had bought herself a rather nice home. A real home…one that wasn’t broken down and beaten. It was well furnished and warm. She had a nice closet, this closet was lined with an assortment of outfits.

She was más than happy to invite her group of friends inside. Kang seemed to be the most excited for her. She felt at her best when he was around. He was constantly telling her how impressive it was that she had hit rock bottom and picked herself back up on her own.

One night, when fortunes were particularly high, Azula had thrown a party. Naturally her first friends had showed up. por the end of the night, most everyone in Hira’a had stopped por at least for a little bit. The party was for her birthday, but most people didn’t know that.

It didn’t really matter.

She was happier than she had been in a long time. Everyone seemed to be joyful.

It was on that same night she and Kang decided to escape the festivity for a while. They stood alone on her balcony. He had his arm around her—if her memory proved correct. They were looking off into the direction of the Forgetful Valley and up at the stars. For the most part they just held each other and took in the night. The smell of frutas carried por a balmy wind.

Eventually he smiled down at her. He told her it was amazing how much a person could change. She thought he was talking about how she’d gone from having nothing to all of what was around her. And then he informed her…admitted, that he used to think she’d never be anything but heartless and power hungry. Before she could say anything, he mentioned it took him a while to put two and two together—to recognize her.

She didn’t say anything. What was there to say?

He wished her a happy birthday and stated that he was proud of what she had done with herself. He didn’t seem to mind that she made him find out who she was on his own.

He took her hand in his—or maybe it was the other way around—and stood there with her a little longer…until a drunk Lin-Shi called her attention back to the party. She couldn’t exactly let the girl stumble back to her house unattended.

Azula didn’t think it could get any better than año nine.

año nine was when Kang introduced her to his parents. They took kindly to the idea of him getting friendly with the princess, even though it was a pretty empty título at this point.

It was on año nine that she and Kang closed another mostrar and decided to utilize their vacation days. Besides, it was someone else’s turn to get the starring role anyhow. Kang used these vacation days to take her to Ember Island.

They bickered for a few moments over whose house they’d stay in; her family’s old one o his. They decided they’d alternate between the two.

año nine was when Azula lie down in the sand under a palm tree, waiting for Kang to get back from wherever he had gone. He came back around sun down and handed her a clam. She had never been so confused in her life…
Okay so that was a bit of an exaggeration, but she was pretty confused.

He had her pry the almeja open. Inside it was a little ring.

They married on that same playa a little over a mes later.

In the middle of año ten, Azula found herself holding twins; a boy and a girl. In the middle of año ten they were a family as opposed to just a married couple. Lin-Shi was excited for the party celebrating the birth of the twins.

año ten was año one for Lin-Shi; the girl had a lot she wanted to change about herself…starting with her drinking problem. Azula decided she’d help the girl. But first she had one last thing to settle.

por the end of año ten Azula was welcomed back inicial with warm arms. With hopes that año eleven would bring amends between she and her mother. And amends between she and Zuko…and maybe she and Ty-Lee.

Ten years.
Such a long time.
Ten years had changed the princess más than she ever thought they would have.

Perhaps it's a little ridiculous to over think the reincarnation aspect of The Last Airbender, but something about the concept has always bothered me.
I'm not a new avatar fan; I was introduced to the series about five years hace when I was just discovered manga and anime. My friends and I all enjoyed watching/talking about the show, and needless to say I became somewhat attached to the players. The mostrar is so well done with great storylines, animation, dialogue, and characters, but has anyone ever wondered what reincarnation means for the friendships and amor interest of Aang's current life?...

"We're under attack!" Hakoda yelled to the village.
The men readied themselves for the fight. Aang grabbed his staff and ran out of the tent, Katara at his heels, holding Haruki. Aang turned around and stopped Katara.
"You and Haruki have to get out of here." he told her, "Get the old, the sick, and the young out of here on Appa."
"Aang, I won't leave you!" dicho Katara.
"I can't fight not knowing if you're safe," dicho Aang, hugging his wife and son, "Katara, please."
Katara looked at his eyes, kissed him, then ran off, collecting the children and old in the village. After she got all the children...

Hi, all! This is a sequel to "The Moments Ahead, Part 4: One Stormy Night," but tu don't need to read it to understand this story.

Aang and Katara lay on the grass, looking at the stars in the midnight blue sky.
"They're pretty, aren't they?" Katara asked, nuzzling Aang's neck.
He smiled at the girl he loved so much. "They sure are, but I have something even prettier in my arms," he said.
Katara smiled and they shared a deep, passionate kiss.
Aang smiled into the kiss.
The fiery liplocking lasted a full twenty seconds. It was the longest, and por far the most passionate, kiss they had ever shared....

Okay, nobody's dado me any suggestions as to what I'm supposed to do. But that's okay. I've got some ideas of my own. If tu like angst, this story is for you.
Enjoy!

Tears stung Aang's eyes as blood trickled out of his body. He was dying. más importantly, he was going to be taken away from his one true love.
"K-katara," he choked, "I'm scared."
"No, Aang...you'll be fine," she said, but her voice was full of worry.
Aang was crying full-force now. "I...I don't think I'm going to make it!" he cried.
"Yes, tu will," Katara said.
"Katara, I amor you..." Aang dicho weakly. Then, his eyes closed, and...

Katara went to cama early. But she didn't hear Aang's feet padding down the hallway to his room.

Wait a minute. Katara was sure she saw something in that last flash of lightning...and it sort of looked like...

"Aang?" Katara asked. "What on Earth are tu doing here...and why are tu shaking like a leaf?"

"I'm...afraid of storms," Aang confessed.

"Aang!" Katara cried. "Why didn't tu tell me...or anyone else for that matter? tu know that we're always here."

"That's exactly it!" Aang said. "I didn't want anyone else...

This is just around where my story begins
This is a warped version of the episode 'The Drill'. Note that I start the story near the end of the actual episode.

--------------------------------------------------

Azula picked Aang up and pinned him to the muro of Ba Sing Se. She grasp his should with her left hand, and with the other, produced a blue flame. Just as she was preparing to strike, Aang regained most of his consciousness.

His vision was blurred, but as it cleared, he could see, and feel the heat of the flame. He arched his fingers, and tried to grasp the wall, and preformed an Earthbending technique. Earth gathered and eclipsed...

This por far was the most epic episode I have seen in the entire series. Starting with Aang and Zuko's firebending training, right down to the final scene with Katara and Aang(nearly cried, but was clapping). It even seemed that Sokka's jokes were funnier! In my opinion, the best battle was Azula and Zuko's. The best moment was definetly a tie between Prince Zuko being introduced as the fuego Lord and the Final scene with Katara and Aang(no spoiler). The most epic moment, definitvely was the scene when Aang was securing fuego Lord Ozai and taking his bending skill away. Strangely, it can't be the end! Zuko met up with his father at the end to ask him about his ,supposedly dead, mother's whereabouts.

It had been a long time since they'd done anything as a family for the holidays. Zuko glanced over at an old family navidad photo. It would be just he and his mom this year.

Katara, Aang and Sokka all had plans to go back to the water tribes and enjoy some good old fashioned snow. Who could blame them, what was navidad without snow?

A fuego Nation Christmas, he answered himself.

He couldn’t complain, couldn’t miss something that never was.

Toph...being the whimsical girl she was decided she was going to take her student metal benders out for some 'mandatory musical metalbending'...rather...

If I wasn't in the avatar state o the spirit world then where was I? I questioned that over in my head. I was scared and afraid. Until I felt the soft warm sensation of someone's hand on my shoulder.

No one was there though. So who? I was on the verge of tears. I didn't understand this at all. I was scared, I was a horrible bender, and I was in a place that I don't recall going to. Being the avatar sucks.

I was confused so I lay down on the black dirt under my red converse and tried to think. I twirled a long strand of brown hair in my fingers and licked my lips.

"Why do we need to go?" He asked while running along side me.

"Just Because!!"

And of course, Aang turned around. And there standing behind us was the girl. We waited for an anwser but none came. She still had her trench capa on but she had pulled off her hat. Black hair flowed down and lots of makeup designed her face.

"Who are tu and why are tu following us?" Aang said.

We waited for an answer but instead we got a strong jump of...

Okay so this is basically our time, but in the united states. What happened was that Katara actually kept a diary about her life and some historians found it on a small island close to Japan. The historians gave it to some movie directors, and they created the anime cartoon, avatar the last airbender, based off Katara's diary. Now its 2010 and there are still benders around, but they keep their powers a secret because of the Nickolodean cartoon show, and because if anyone found a bender, they would be put in Jail. This all means that there is a modern día avatar as well. But all the modern...

Zuko ignored her and addressed a man a few seats down.
