Ichigo, to a certain degree. He lied to Tatsuki, because he knew that she'd try and insist on helping, o something, even know she knows nothing about the Soul Society, let alone Hueco Mundo. Of course, I don't think I've really meet any characters that are exactly how tu described.

Sounds like a super hero to me. Here's Tiger from Tiger and Bunny. Of course, he's not really going things alone, he does have a partner. He just keeps things from his daughter and other people he knows outside his job.
