Chapter 11
Alpha training started in 2 hours. After that terrifying moment after the howl, Seth hadnt spoken to Kate since then. Kate had tried multiple times to apologise but Seth wasn't buying it. It was morning. 10 in the morning. THe birds were out, there was a gentle breeze... THe flores and césped, hierba were slowly swaying about. Kate walked out of the den. After Alpha training... She thought. My new responsibilities begin... She saw a familiar grey figure walking by. Seth. Since that night, he had taken on a new look. He now had one lock of spikey long hair covering one eye. He had taken on the look when he ran off to the forest. He hadn't told anyone why.
Seth was horrified. He ran through the forest. Salty tears leaked from his green eyes. He ran not knowing where he was going. Anywhere from that sight was good. He didn't want anything to do with Kate, anything to do with Michael, and certainly he didn''t want to be in a realtionship with Kate. As he ran he quickly approached a tree. Underneath it was a huge root bulging from the ground. In front of it was a curving path and a thorn bush. Unwittingly, Seth tripped over the root. He stumbled forward. He landed in the thorn bush. He began to howl in pain. He leapt off of it. His right eye burned. He ran towards a stray puddle near the bush. He looked deep into it. On his right eye, he opened it. He was lucky to not have lost it o go blind however, now there was a huge gash that cut right through it. He could not say to the others he got killed por a thorn bush. He took one paw and ruffled his air, growling as he did so. THe hair came over, spikey and long over his right eye. He felt blood oozing down from it. It was a burning pain. He would be scarred forever. Now, Seth no longer felt the will to protect Kate o even anyone. His corazón had gone from warm, to freezing cold. From a thunderous and majestic drum, to a hatred filled tornado. Never again would be amor Kate. Never again would he speak to Michael. Other lobos are just a liability. With hatred fueling him, he sought out a place to rest for the night.
2 hours had gone por since Kate woke up. Within the short time Kate knew michael, they were considered mates. It was a good thing Kate wasn't in a heat o she would of gotten pregnant. Michael of course, was happy to be called her mate. Seth seemed más bulky then she remembered. He was más serious. No longer did that fuego to be friendly o playful burned in his eyes. All she saw was hatred. He would no longer even talk to her. "Come on Alpha's! It is an hours walk to the site!" Ruuqo called out. Even though Seth was delta, he responded and began walking towards Ruuqo, por jerking his head so the single lock of hair over his eye came out from over his unscarred eye. "Seth... I expect tu to come too-" He started but stopped when he saw Seth approaching. "Oh... Good..." Over 12 Alpha's attended, including Destiny. She came up beside him and sat down beside him. "You know... It's very rare for a delta, to be selected for Alpha school..." She whispered to him. "I know..." Seth said, with no expression. "I know you're upset... I just want to say i'm sorry for your loss." Seth, knowing Destiny didn't do anythign wrong, he softened. "Thanks..." He looked down at his paws. The hair covering his scarred eye fell down as well. Embarassed, he quickly got up and covered his scarred eye. Just as Lilly brushes the pelaje, piel over her eye. "I understand this is new to some of you..." Seth nodded ever so slightly. "I'm proud to announce, that four of our ALpha's are teaching the school this year. Please step forward, Griffin, Carey, Saphire and Liam." There was alot of cheering, but the loudest por far were the howls and barks of Seth and Destiny. Kate walked up to the crowd. She was late... Along with Michael. They approached the crowd and sat down near the end. Seth turned back curiously. Kate caught his eye but he rolled his eyes and quickly turned away. He caught a tinge of despair from Kate. "We will be heading to a valley to the north. It has a shallow gulley that we can train in as well as a lake and a herd of Caribou nearby. A perfect place to train." Liam announced. Everyone listened silently. "I will need each of tu to divide into pairs. So will be the lobo tu will be with them to train for the whole season so pick wisely!" Liam finished. Michael turned to Kate, thoughtfully. She nodded, reluctantly and smiled. Not much of a choice there is there eh sunshine? Kate thought to her self. Destiny nuzzled Seth with her nose in a friendly way. Seth smiled at her and nodded.
Within 5 minutes, everyone had a partner and the journey was underway. The group of 17 left the camp immediately. Seth waved goodbye to Miranda, Hunter, Soul and the other beta's and delta's upon leaving. They, along with Destiny, Liam, Griffin and Carey were the only ones that had not done him wrong. He quickly ran up besides Destiny. Her grey pelaje, piel and shiny blue eyes gave Seth comfort. "So what exactly is ALpha school...?" Seth asked warily. Destiny turned to him. "Exactly what it's called!" She smiled sweetly. "Alpha's come here every año and train to become full fledged Alpha's. I've never been here so i don't know what we're doing. "Well, i'm not much of an anything... I don't hunt... o fight... SO i don't know why tu picked me as a partner-" "Hey! What kind of attitude is that? I'm new to this stuff too?" Destiny reassured him. "Yeah but don't they give new born alpha's some... training?" Destiny looked around thoughtfully. "Yeah... Although how bout when the time comes to rest for a while, i'll go over some moves with you..." She smiled. "Yeah... THanks..." Seth smiled at her.
Kate was upset. Within a day, she had lost her amor for some Alpha she barely knew. Curse this pack. Curse their ways. Curse her responsibility. Michael padded beside her. It wasn't all that bad... Michael cared for her and loved her... Kate silently sobbed to herself. Just as Seth used to... She thought bitterly. Maybe she could get Seth interested in her again before the end of school... Maybe he would forgive her! These thoughts gave Kate a reassurance for a moment but then thought. Ugh! Keep it together Kate! Why are tu cussing over some dumb delta!... That... Saved your life countless times... She immediately regretted even thinking, that dumb delta. Seth wasn't just a dumb delta. And Kate wasn't prepared to let him go. Just yet. I just hope it's true what they say... amor never dies... Kate thought to herself one last time before Michael called her, and snapped Kate back to reality.

also, i'm sorry if i sound like i'm being repetitive about this, but i just wanted to get it off my chest
1) the animación in Dino Digs was sometimes better to look at than in Norm of the North
2) Dino Digs kept its gas humor and fart/piss jokes at a minimum, and honestly, it did have some funny bits (when Norm of the North had NONE of it)
3) at least - at the very least - Kate, Humphrey and the pups are decent main characters tu can route for (unlike Norm)
4) there's no Brent o Agnes, o Freida and Fran this time around. as for Amy, she was passable (aside from her HIDEOUS design)
5) Dino Digs at least knew when to stop being crazy and nonsensical, so that the audience can take a breath. Norm of the North NEVER stopped being nonsensical and retarded
