Claudette: And this'll all be mine?
Kate: Everything.
Claudette: Everything the light touches... What about that shadowy cave?
Kate: That's beyond our borders. tu must never go there, Claudette.
Claudette: But I thought a queen can do whatever she wants.
Kate: Oh, there's más to being queen than...getting your way all the time. (Starts to go down the rock.)
Claudette: (Awed) There's more?
Kate: (Chuckles.) Claudette.

Kate: Everything tu see exists together in a delicate balance. As queen, tu need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures from the crawling ant to the galloping caribou.
Claudette: But, mom, don't we eat the caribou?
Kate: Yes, Claudette, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass. And the caribou eat the grass. And so we are all connected in the great circulo, círculo of Life.
