I'm a writer, but all my female (and some male) characters are very weird and either defy gender roles o some other things, and most of my own interests, likes, dislikes, problems etc. etc. inspire my ideas for them. Does this mean I'm weird?

i write too, but just as a hobby. i think that it's good to have a range of characters and its definitely good that most of them are different to tu and maybe a bit weird because it means tu have a good imagination so as long as it's constructive, embrace the weirdness, i would say. besides, many readers like weird- it's usually interesting.
i'd advise tu to carry on with what youre doing but keep adding new ideas.

eh now my characters are strange too and pretty much all of my novels are based my life... just fictionfide to make it interestinger... No it doesn't mean you're weird but who are we to classify weird... tu are simply tu and that's all tu can be so if tu like your characters then what does it matter! People like to read weird characters, like to knw that they have flaws like themselves...
