Just be yourself and don't get tied up in what other people want tu to be. You're at a time in your life that's going to be full of self-discovery and changes, and I personally think that's the most important aspect of high school, even over grades. Things like friends and boyfriends and grades usually only last as long as the four years you're in high school (usually-there are exceptions), but the things tu learn from them- about yourself, about others, about the world- are the things that are really going to stick with tu and the things that are going to be of the most help to tu in your future. Now, don't disregard any of these things. Do your best with your grades, your friends, your relationships- don't just set them aside. But do what tu feel is best with them. Follow your own instinct, even if it might mean messing up. It's okay to mess up and to make mistakes, and you're going to at some point, even if you're careful. Don't be afraid to mess up, because you're at a point where it's really easy to bounce back from messing up, and there's a ton to learn from making mistakes- probably even más than being perfect all the time. Now, that doesn't mean go out and completely screw yourself over like having unprotected sex o getting into serious trouble- those things can really mess up your life and they're a lot harder to reverse from- but little things that tu can learn from, don't be afraid to do them. tu might get a boyfriend, tu might not. tu might have really good friends, tu might not. tu might have really good relationships one día and then the siguiente day, they might not be so great anymore. And that's totally okay, it isn't the end of the world. You're going to yo-yo back in forth in high school with friends, boyfriends, teachers, grades, et cetra- that's totally normal, and that's life. Just follow your instinct and be the best tu can be, even if that means messing up a little. Just stay true to yourself and don't be afraid of anything- everything will be just fine.
