Closely followed by Emma, Henry and Snow :P (Frigging annoying family)
She also claimed she wasn't evil, right after she slaughters innocent people; men, women, children, and elderly. In season 1 she claimed she wasn't evil, even though in Storybrooke she keeps on trying to ruin other peoples lives and have them fear her. What a hypocrite! Plus there's the fact that she killed her father! She killed the man who loved and protected her just to get revenge on a young girl who really isn't to blame for her suffering in my opinion. I'm mostly find her annoying because her fans excuse her in stupid ways for her actions, no offense zanhar1. Don't get me wrong, some of Rumple's actions bug me too and they do affect my opinion on him but he's still one of my favorite characters.
@KataraLover I think you only picked Regina because you don't like her.
But that's fine ;)
@KataraLover If anyone's a hypocrite, it's Greg and Tamara. Using magic when they hate magic... Ridiculous.
WTF Why are people voting for Belle? She's by the far the only character who doesn't have any annoying moments.
@Katara I'm not going to defend her in the fact that she blamed a little girl for the death of her love (because I do feel that her anger was displaced) but I will defend her in the fact that she went back to her mom despite it all. Regina had no one, no one at all and then finally someone comes and decides to care for her, of course she's going to jump on the offer. Sure her mother's confession might have gotten Emma and Henry back on her side but that's a 50/50 chance, where as her mother's love and help was already there, she knew her mom was on her side. If you were all alone would you take a friendship offer you knew was there or blow that change by going for something that was 50/50? On top of that it's completely natural for a daughter to love her own mother unconditionally and do anything to receive the same love in return. It's really hard to hate your own parent even if they are horrible to you. There were times when I tried to hate my father for something he did to me; I couldn't and I don't know why. Probably because he is family, because he raised me and loved me. And I can imagine Regina feels the same. And you say that Cora didn't love her; I can't agree. I think Cora loved Regina, she just didn't know how to do it. In her own twisted way she thought she was doing what was best for her daughter in giving her a shot at power and riches, at something she never had. She just went about it in the very wrong way. That being said I think Regina was giving her mom a second chance (something Snow was unwilling to do in the case of Regina) and that's not a stupid move. I don't think it's stupid at all to love your mom or to give her another chance. And honestly if your mom died, would you celebrate? Yeah Cora killed Gina's lover but she's still her mom and for that reason Regina wasn't dancing on Cora's grave--not to mention people probably would call Gina sick and twisted if she did do so. Guess it's a lose lose, if she takes joy in her mom's death she's sick, if she cries about it she's stupid. It makes no sense to me. And Snow did have a choice, if she would have just gave Gina her second chance when she was asking for it the situation may have been avoided. In this case Gina wasn't the only one at fault. Snow made a pretty stupid move too, especially since she didn't even have the guts to do the deed herself.
I can agree to the fact that it wasn't the smartest thing to insist killing an entire village was justified. And killing her dad wasn't right either. But I will say that it is debatable that her dad protected her. He kind of just stood there when Cora used magic on her in episode 18 and I can imagine that wasn't the only time he just watched the abuse. Non-taken some fans can get a bit crazy, and I may or may not have proved that above but I like to say what's on my mind so...
And yes, Eddy and Adam confirmed that Cora does in fact love Regina :)
OMG—no one voted Rumple?! Yay!
He's bland in both personality and looks. And, as zanhar said, he's a hypocrite. He can sleep with another woman while cursed but gods forbid Snow has a one nights stand with another man (another man who is way better than he is). Sexist pig!
Every time he opens his mouth I want to cut his damn head off!
1) David. Wish he'd died in the pilot. He contributes nothing to the show.
2) Hook is a pervert. Which I can deal with as long as they don't try to pair him up with someone I like which is everyone else.
3) Emma can be sooo thick. Worst detective ever.
4) Belle is so oblivious! Stockholm syndrom to the extreme.
5) Gold... well it's mostly some fans (and Belle's) refusal to admit that HE IS NOT A SAINT that grinds me up.
5) Henry is a child actor (nuf said).
4) Gina always does something horrible as soon as I think I can trust her. I want to like her but she makes it so hard!
6) Snow can be too good for her own good. She is constantly putting her personal feelings above the greater good and never puts any backbone into her decisions. She is a terrible leader but I give her a lot of slack because finally seeing her evolve into the true queen she needs to be is one of the main reasons i watch the show.
And Belle pisses me off because she goes overboard trying to change Rumplestiltskin. Even trying to tell him to be good and not use magic at times when it doesn't make sense. Sure Rumple has changed, but that doesn't change the fact that he has done a lot of horrible things to people in the past who really want to kill him and destroy everything that he loves(Example; Hook). And she calls him weak for basically protecting what's precious to him, and that really pisses me off. Before magic, Rumple got himself kicked out of a suicide army because he wanted to live and he wanted to see his newborn son, was branded a coward by all, his wife left him for some pirate, he had to raise his son on his own in shame, and then his son is almost dragged into the suicidal army against the ogres. He initially wanted magic to save his son. That not cowardice. He couldn't do it on his own merit and so he found other ways to do it. And with his crappy life, how could you not want a little vengeance? Sure it's wrong but remember magic has a price. The price he paid for all his power was his sanity and his morality which led him to turn evil-ish. Belle doesn't know the pain he's endured and all he's been through, yet she constantly berates him for being a so-called coward and defending himself and what he loves. A prime example is when he was going to kill captain Hook(don't get me wrong, I love Hook) who had previously tried to kill her, who wanted to kill Rumple to take his revenge for Rumple killing his wife(who Hook had stolen from Rumple to begin with, tearing apart a family and forcing Rumple to-as he once put-"tell their son why his mother was no longer around"). Now Rumple isn't killing the pirate to be evil, but killing him to protect himself AND Belle, but suddenly killing someone who is certainly bent on killing you is an evil and cowardly thing to do. And later it blows up in her face when Hook shoots Belle, (which could have killed her) forcing her to lose her memories and makes Rumple depressed. What's worse is that she doesn't learn from it! Belle tries to make him promise not to kill Zelena, who not only murdered his son(who he promised to get revenge for) but enslaved Rumple for over a year and forced him to do terrible things who was also bent on killing Regina and changing the past(which could alter everyone's lives dramatically and have terrible effects on the future), and just because she's powerless(as if a powerless character has never regained their magic before), it's bad to kill her? And when she does have her powers, she's a near unstoppable psychopath who steps on anyone who gets in her way, whose had plenty of chances to redeem herself, as the good witch of the west, but always refuses to take that route(and no she is NOT like Regina, no one pushed her to being the wicked witch of the west like Regina was. Sure her past was crappy but so was Regina's, whose overbearing mother and several others pushed her to being evil, while Zelena developed her own sense of jealousy and hatred all by herself, if anything, everyone-Glinda and the other witches-were pushing her to be good and not wicked). But hey, let's spare her life and put everyone else's at risk! *supreme sarcasm* There's no way anyone without magic can escape a simple jail cell, ( *cough* Emma Swan *cough* Picking locks *cough*) which no one clearly bothered to cast a spell on. Honestly between Emma and Belle the stupidity, selfishness and just plain ignorance is over 9000!!! These heroes are becoming so full of themselves. My favorite character is Rumplestiltskin, Red(Ruby) and Regina
I had no problem with Belle in Skin Deep, but ever since that episode I've found her to be very irritating (especially in the Frozen arc). It's great that she saw good in Rumple and wanted to give him a chance, but instead of recognizing the man that he used to be, she completely ignored it and seemed to view him as some sort of saint. She thought that if he showed just one scrap of humanity, that meant he was a good man. And she liked to believe that she was changing him, though it seemed to me that she was just excusing his mistakes and coddling him. The only time I've ever seen Rumple being on the verge of heroism or redemption was through Neal's treatment of him: he was harsh and really made his father work for his love; whereas Belle was quick to forgive and excuse his actions, and I didn't see Rumple change his behaviors AT ALL because of her. All he did was lie to her and cover up his bad intentions, and be the man to her face, but the monster behind her back. And then in Season 4A, she acted increasingly naive, ignorant, dumb, and easily manipulated.
I think what annoys me the most about Belle though is that she essentially has no development outside of her relationship with Rumplestiltskin.
