I think it would kill gina's fan to admit just for once that Snow is a better person than gina. that she has a kind, beautiful soul that knows mercy, and truly-heartly forgives those who had wronged her. It's not the first time Snow saves and/or forgives gina (the letter given to the huntsman, her saving gina from the soul-eater etc.). And it's not the first time gina's fan minimalize this actions.

I think Snow wouldn't have let anyone be executed. Guilty or not, gina or anybody else, she would have saved their life.

calling Snow a smug or playing indifferent to all the times she saved gina's wicked ass , like some people here do, is a way to minimalize her good actions.

Ok here's what I got from that article (please correct me if I'm wrong, english is my second language) basically they just want a trial for regina and some neutral judge who sentence her and the sentence was based on Law not good or bad.

I get it, although I do agree with this article when it comes to how to punish someone (seriously OUAT need to consider to put some law on the show and at least more than one character who is neutral so they can help both side, archie can't handle it alone) monarchy really does suck!
But I don't agree about calling snow a smug or self-righteousness, I don't think it's true! But that's just my opinion

Killing is punished by law so.. gina would have been condemned either way. I don't think a constitutional monarchy is necessarily a bad thing. I do think that a despotic monarchy such as that during gina's ruling is very bad. I think we can add abuse of power to the list of things punished by law in her case.

All the idea about Monarchy always scared me when regina gain power she really used it for her gain and yes I do think she abuse her power, but even if someone good like charming the ones who got the power, it still can't justified to punished someone based on his feeling, people can still said he abuse his power
(even though and please don't be mad at me my evil regal friends! when it come to this, I do understand why charming want regina dead and I don't blame or mad at him)

And about the monarchy... as pointed out in the show, Snow&Charming have a constitutional monarchy. That is they're not the ones to take the decisions. They have A ROUND TABLE (I'm sure you know its mythological meaning, reference to king Arthur etc.), a symbol of equality between its members. They decide together what to do, it doesn't come to one man/woman's will or pleasure.

About gina's trial: it was a fair one. Gina WAS guilty (of murder, treason, abuse of power etc.) by law. It wasn't in her case a decision based on personal hatred. Such a decision was gina's -> when she accused Snow of high treason etc. and forced her, the innocent princess of the kingdom, to hide in the woods.

P.S. I enjoy talking to you. You are one of the true fans of this show. Though you like gina, you do not mock the other characters or minimalize their importance in this show. I truly appreciate you.

@ Claudia I don't recall anyone saying Gina was a better person that Snow. And I personally have admitted that Gina isn't exactly a model citizen so you may quit with your Gina fan stereotyping. And if you look above, all, if not most Gina fans have admitted so. Would it kill Snow fans to stop glorifying everything she does and making her out to be some God-like figure!? This isn't the first time a Snow fan has over-exaggerated one of Snow's actions. Yes she did a good deed, many others do too (Mulan, Aurora, etc.) so why is it that Snow's actions are put above the rest?

So have Snow's fans. I get sick of hearing 'Snow is such a lovely woman' 'OMG Snow is so cute with Charming, no couple is better than theirs' 'Gina is ugly because Snow is pretty' 'Snow is so nice she can do no wrong' 'Snow is so much fairer than every character ever' and 'Look how fair Snow is it was so noble of her to save another person!' It's not just Gina's fans who support their favorite character. Everyone here does so in some way or another. From Ruby fans to Gina fans to Snow fans, we've all 'built some golden statue' of some sort. I hardly think one fandom should be judged more harshly than another for doing so.

Read the comments above. Look at the titles on the Snow/Ginny pictures. I know that, I exaggerated just like you did. None of us Gina fans ever said; she saved Snow&Emma but.. This is a FANTASY SHOW. Some likes Heroes and some likes Villains.
I like villains. And in fantasy shows or movies, i always prefered evil witches then princesses. And it gets really annoying when someone ask me why i am fan of this villain, he/she's so evil. I simply am, i love epic charachters and i think villains are more epic and interesanting. And when i see tragic backstory about that villain, it makes me love him/her even more.

In OUAT, i am not a fan of Snowing, but i admit Ginny and Josh are good actors and they're doing a great job with their roles. In Snow White and 7 dwarfs movie, i found Snow and Prince annoying. And Ginny and Josh, because they have done a great job with their roles, i also found them annoying in OUAT.

I hope i didn't offend anoyone, this is MY point of view.

Princess-Yvonne: Don't say Regina's fans, because I am a nasty comment writter. When i see how Regina gets a lot of hate (for killing Graham, or locking Belle, or trying to kill Snow), it makes me mad, so i wanted also to voice an opinion like that.

I am a fan of epic villains too. In OUAT I love Rumpel. I just don't find gina an epic villain at all.

I don't believe in stereotypes. For instance if I start watching a show I don't immediately go team witches or princesses. I watch a few episodes and pick my team according to what I see.

In Merlin (maybe you know the TV-series, it's quite popular) for instance I'm team witches (Morgana, Morgause) and don't like the princesses. I find Morgana an epic villain and Gwen, the heroine, boring and irritating.

I just don't like gina. And NOT because she's a villain. I'm quite tired of saying this frankly. It seems nobody listens and/or cares about this aspect.

Yes because that is how Snow was raised. Regina didn't have the luxury of being raised in such a loving way. Regina was a victim of her Mother's cruel manipulative abusive behavior.

Snow's mom died, she only had her father. And her father was a King -> that is.. a lot of responsibilities and a busy schedule. At a very young age she got vengeful, full of hatred gina as stepmother...

we don't know that much about Snow's childhood but.. the news about an episode with her mom, queen Eva sound like we're going to find out!

On top of that, I am beyond annoyed by the whole 'Gina's fans attack people' (we wouldn't get mad if people weren't so mean whilst voicing their opinions in the first place) and 'Gina's fans are so mean' and also 'Gina's fans need to grow up'. Yeah and do you know how many times people have said Snow is prettier than Gina through remarks like 'Gina is as plain as a sheet of paper' 'I don't see why they keep letting Regina wear tight dresses, I don't like how her round tummy shows' and 'she looks like an old lady'? It happens a lot, more often than not. At least when Gina fans say Gina is prettier we leave it at that and don't proceed to explain why we think Snow is 'ugly'.

For one thing Gina didn't even want to be saved or redeemed at the time, Snow kind of forced that on her, which is kind of unfair. If she'd rather die than be redeemed Snow should've let it happen. Yeah I'm glad she saved her, but it still wasn't a fair way to give her a chance she didn't want (and then refuse to give her one when she actually wanted it). Secondly, Gina saved both Snow and Emma and her fans don't call her too good for this world.

I've typed an article about why I love Gina, not gonna post links because I don't want someone else (and this could be anyone, no sarcasm intended) to type an article long comment about how I'm wrong and how my opinion and Regina suck. I also haven't written any because for one I'm to lazy and for seconds I only say smart things like this in a discussion, it's quite sad really. And a good position to maintain, I advise you stay there for your own sanity.
