sorry it is suppose to be minutes to midnight. it is not what i was expecting. up until this album they were my favourite rock band. they had more meaningful lyrics and better songs on previous albums

Hybrid Theory and Meteora were a lot harder than Minutes to Midnight. The lyrics were much darker, and I loved their style back then. When MTM came out, I didn't like it much because of how soft they had gotten. But the thing is, they grew old and their tastes matured- they experimented and made new music and nailed it. ^_^
Sure, the rapping had decreased drastically, and the lyrics were on a whole new level (from paranoia, numbness, misery and pain to devotion, loyalty, war and peace.) The messages were great, and it really went with what the world has become now. <3
