This guy is really someone to be looked up to. He has genuine concern for the average passerby even though he has been slighted by him. He asks the existential questions and is crossing the line from strangers to "buddy" to create a sense of harmony. Clearly he cares about the balance between the forces of good and evil and strives to be lawful good.
