Anyway, I've never understood the appeal of Aurora or Kayley.
And Odette. I do like her, her movie's one of my favorites so a lot of that is nostalgic love, but I agree with Anna- the high esteem she gets held in I don't get. And Anastasia (maybe that's also nostalgic love), Tzipporah (again, like her, but she doesnt have that much impact while people seem to prefer her to Miriam), Vanellope.
I can pretty much see why each DP gets love though. Belle, a little less, but I think it's because people see themselves in her (not fitting in, feeling like you're surrounded by bumpkins) but an idealized version of themselves that makes them feel cool because she's portrayed as brave and intelligent.
I sort of see what people like about Tzipporah, it's more the level of stanning she gets that's wild to me. I've seen PoE a zillion times at least, and I never thought she was anything special; she's just kind of there. Nothing about her as a character is all that different or interesting - one of the 3853957 Jasmine retreads from the 90s - and virtually none of the stuff she does even matters to the story. I'll never understand why people treat her like she's the main heroine when she does nothing on Miriam's level, or even that of either of Moses' moms. She's fine, but just...idgi.
Rapunzel feels like the love child of 20 focus groups. I have a hard time seeing her as a character at all, let alone one with such a hardcore following.
