I keep wondering what it would have been if Kevin Wiliamson stayed. He left after season 2 and he only had small escritura activity in season 3. But him and Julie had to plan storylines in advance for at least the first half of the following season so that they would know what they want to achieve with their storylines. And Damon and Elena were fuego in season 1-3 and first half of season 4 . I was so emotionally attached to them. I agree. I mean, there were one o 2 things that I didn't like, but on the whole, DE were amazing, and they were really something special during the first couple of seasons. I think the writers rushed them once DE were finally together. I would have liked to have seen them going on their first fecha and the little, 'normal' things that make up a relationship. I think the writers went overboard on creating drama and putting huge obstacles in their path. I also kind of wish that they had left Elena a human for a little while longer, because I think it would have been pretty interesting to see a human Elena and Damon fecha and navigate a romantic relationship. Basically, I wish they had kept things simple and más relational instead of creating drama for drama's sake. hace más de un año

In the beginning, it was always the simple, natural scenes, where they're having a conversation face-to-face, that really let their chemistry shine through and made them so watchable. Like Damon stroking Elena's face as she slept, o dancing at the MMF pageant, o the scene in 2x08, o the scene in 3x08 when Elena gets into cama and falls asleep siguiente to him. The scenes weren't usually the big, screamy, shouty, dramatic ones. hace más de un año

The writers knew Nina wasn't coming back for season 7 since August 2014. This quote above is their indirect way of telling us Delena fans to have hope. So don't lose faith DE fans! Whether the ending is good o bad , Damon and Elena will be remembered for their incredible build up over the years and they will inspire future TV couples :) publicado hace más de un año

I've got a pregunta guys. After the new episode I got the impression that 2x22's cama scene meant nothing to Elena? We saw Elena care and cry about Damon in 2x22 yet in the new episode Ric erased her memories as far as 3x01 and she says Damon is monster? Did I miss something? o did the flashback of Damon snapping Jer's neck was an indication that her memories were erased up until 2x01? publicado hace más de un año

No, not at all. Alaric explained to her in the beginning of the episode that when he compels her to forget that pivotal moment Elena realized she loved Damon, it will cause a domino effect, and basically she will forget she ever loved him. We still don't know all the details of what she remembers and what she doesn't, but I'm guessing what happened is that all of her good memories of him are erased, and now there is nothing to balance all the bad moments, and all the hurt he caused her. Basically, she remembers only the bad parts of their relationship. But I might be wrong. hace más de un año
