I honestly have no idea what I just wrote… but it is what it is… Also, I'm sorry in advance about the length of this and anything that doesn't make sense, I just found the first half of this in my drafts and decided I should do something with it #wow

OFFICE BUILDING
CHICAGO, IL
22:14:09 CST

“Oh my god, tu can’t just go around setting people on fire.”
"He had every intent to kill you, I had to do what was necessary to make sure that didn't happen. You're an asset- besides, he's not dead, is he?"
The man sighed and nervously smoothened his sport coat. "So, why does the Justice League need me?"
The girl casually shrugged as she glanced out of the room and down a hallway. "Your guess is as good as mine…" She paused. "...probably better, actually."
His eyes widened in concern, "Wait, tu don't even know why you're on this mission!?"
"I know that I'm supposed to bring tu to a secure location, I don't really need to know más than that, do I? Follow me." She pulled her capucha, campana adelante, hacia adelante as she signaled for the man to follow, making sure not to give him any time to ask another question.
The two ran down the hallway with the girl leading the way and the man in tow. He was significantly taller and wore a grey business suit, which was a stark contrast from the navy and grey chaqueta the girl wore with a capucha, campana that concealed her hair and shadowed the upper portion of her face. She stopped and put a hand up, as if to tell the man not to make any noise.
Slowly, she peaked around the corner in front of them. There were two armed men standing in front of the elevator doors. She ducked back behind the corner again as a plan began to form in her mind.
After pausing a moment and taking a deep breath, she motioned for the man to stay where he was, and walked around the corner. Immediately, she was met with two rifles pointed directly at her. As calmly and casually as she could, she put her hands up.
"Hello-"
"This building is on lockdown. You're not supposed to be here."
The girl nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Which is why," she pointed to the hueco de escalera, hueco de la escalera door at the end of the hallway behind the men, "I'm going to just scoot on out of here…" Before she could take another step, one of the guards sidestepped to block her from reaching the door.
The guard moved to press a button on the walkie-talkie clipped to his shoulder. At that same moment, the girl jumped at the other guard, grabbing and twisting the gun out of his grip then slamming the butt of the rifle into his head, causing him to crumble to the floor. Before the remaining guard had a chance to react, the girl swung the gun as if it were a baseball bat directly into his side. As he doubled over, she grabbed his head and slammed it into her knee, knocking him out.
The businessman watched, appalled, from behind the safety of the muro as the girl tossed the gun casually to the floor. She cleared her throat. "We have to go."
"What the hell was that?"
Pulling her capucha, campana adelante, hacia adelante again, the girl rolled her eyes. Stepping over the two guards on the ground, she grabbed onto the man's hand and pulled him towards the end of the hallway.
"The plan was only half-formed and seemed semi-plausible at the time. But they aren't dead, so-"
"Wait, why aren't we taking the elevators? Those are faster-"
"If they have guards publicado at these doors, what makes tu think they won't have them publicado at all the others?"
The man nodded in thought as he practically tripped over the guards and fumbled down the stairwell.

JUNKYARD
CHICAGO, IL
24:27:11 CST

The girl was sitting on parte superior, arriba of a refrigerator, swinging her legs off the edge as she nervously flicked sparks off her hand. The man paced back and forth past her.
There was a flash of light from a shed siguiente to the two as both Nightwing and Atom stepped out.
"Took tu long enough." The girl scoffed and hopped off of the bin, not bothering to look up. "Mr. Streiff, this guy is going to take tu to a secure location…" Finally taking a segundo to look up, she froze as she noticed who had arrived. "…And Nightwing is here for some reason, too…"
The girl cleared her throat awkwardly as the man and the red and blue-clad hero quickly made their departure through the shed.
As soon as the light dissipated, the girl took a step toward Nightwing. "What are tu doing? Because I know tu wouldn't have shown up for this if it didn't have something to do with-"
"The Justice League has been short-staffed lately, and Streiff has information on The Light-"
She put out a hand as small flames dissolved into her skin. "Let me finish. I told tu I didn't want to have anything to do with The Light. My job for the League is small organized crime and undercover ops, not extractions and world domination crime."
There was an air of anger building up in her words, when suddenly an old washing machine behind the two of them burst into flames and tumbled down the pile of appliances it had been resting on. Neither of the two had even flinched. Glancing back with a sigh, she pulled her capucha, campana off and ran a hand through her auburn hair. "So, again I ask, what are tu doing?"
Nightwing sighed and shifted uncomfortably. "We need someone on the inside of Ferris Aircraft for a mission at the end of this week-"
"No."
"Mercy-"
"I dicho no. I don't want to be involved." The redhead shook her head and glanced nervously around the junkyard. "The Light is not something I'm willing to mess with... I wrote part of the League's file on them, and they're capable of some seriously messed up things. And I can handle myself, but E can't. So if I'm on their radar, E would be, too. I just need to take a break and clear my head, okay?" She took a step back and let the words sit there between the two.
Nightwing knew there was no point in arguing, electing not to reveal any más in any attempt to sway the girl's decision. He watched as she turned on her heel and began to walk away. After establishing some el espacio between herself and the shed, she turned around again and cupped her mouth. "Hey! Whatever dumb plan you're cooking up in Mount Justice, I hope it works out for you!"
Nightwing squinted, "How did she-"
"Remember that I work with one of the best conspiracy buffs in the Justice League! Good luck!" And with that said, the girl took off in full sprint toward the city, leaving Nightwing standing alone in the middle of the junkyard.

She sat on her bed, thinking about all Devin had told her. She missed Lizzie to death. But if Devin was right, they would need to keep a low profile. From everyone. A knock on her door broke her troubled thoughts.
“Who is it?”
“Just me. I need to talk.”
Becca answered the door. She let her guest in and sat in a chair. She watched him pace for the el espacio of several segundos before asking the obvious.
“What's wrong?”
“Frak ti des?”
She blinked, sighing.
“Why do tu want to talk in shadow?”
“Meta fo ly.”
She nodded, answering. ((For tu I translate!))
“What's wrong?”
“Shield’s...
