Billionaires, business men, women dressed in lovely dresses. Champagne glasses, sparkling lights, and of course, the treasures of the evening. The precious jewelry and glittering gems. They were the most expensive objects in the room, even más than the yacht the auction was taking place on. And for that reason, the blonde and her partner had been assigned tonight's security detail. It also helped that their teammate's father owned the ship and was hosting the event.
Her stormy grey eyes rested on the glistening blue brooch. An aquamarine rose ready to become the prize of the lucky bidder tonight. While her eyes examined the treasure, her ears were perked, senses directed toward the chatting crowd gathered in the auditorium.
Anyone could be a thief, here to snatch away these beauties, the blue rose o the esmeralda mariposa in the siguiente case over. SilverWings trusted no one, not even her employer. Well, there was one person. And he now stepped up to her side now. His white hair swept to the side, the snowy locks matching his ivory, finely pressed suit.
"Looking over the merchandise?" Titanium jested, his Russian accent carrying a playful tune.
"Right, 'cause I could so go for a 3 million dollar hair pin," the blonde responded, playing along. Her companion smiled in amusement. "The room appears clear."
"And the auction will be starting soon," Silver added. "Though we shouldn't let our guard down just yet."
"Never," he agreed. "I propose we división, split up. I will go out onto the deck and keep a close eye on any suspicious folks, and tu stay here and continue admiring the jewels."
"Divide and conquer, I like your thinking, Ti."
"I will see tu in a bit, then." With that, the 15-year-old departed.
The girl exhaled as the familiar voice of her employer resounded through the speakers set around the room. All attention was turned to the red-haired host standing on the stage.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I, your host Steven Kenway and your hostess Emma Kenway, would like to thank tu for coming out tonight. And now, let us begin auctioning off the jewels so generously donated for tonight's event, where all proceeds will be dedicated to building school in South Africa..."

The sea breeze washed over his burning skin as he stepped out onto the empty deck. Titanium leaned against the railing, concentrating on the smooth movement of the ship over the dark water beneath. His head was spinning, a sweat breaking out across his forehead.
He glanced over his shoulder, confirmed he was alone, then slipped the metal case from his pocket. From it the boy pulled the green liquid, glowing with its own energy, in its glass cylinder. Alek rolled up the sleeve of his suit and pierced his skin with the needle. He closed his eyes and inhaled as his head began to clear, calmed por the injected serum flowing through his veins.
A low, deep voice caught his attention, breaking the bliss. Titanium quickly replaced the needle and case, then lowered his head as the chatter neared. A burly man with a scruffy beard approached, speaking softly into a cellular. Except he was a big guy, and his attempt of a whisper carried across the silent deck like the rumble of a Bulldog
"Yes, they're in place, sir. Ten minutes, yes. I understand, sir. por the end of the hour, this ship and all its passengers will be at the bottom of the ocean." The bulldog flipped his cell close and headed back into the auction room, seemingly oblivious to the presence of a now very wide-eyed boy.
Ti spun around and marched quickly back into the cabin. His partner no long stood beside the jewels o anywhere else within his sight. But despite the sirens going off in the back of his mind, Alek knew the priority of this mission was the hundreds of lives aboard, and continued to the stage where an intense battle of the bids was taking place.
He finally reached the podium and whispered the impending danger into the ear of the host. The cheery man's grin dropped as quick as pressure in the face of a fast approaching storm. The bodyguards were alerted and the auction came to a close with a rápido, swift word. People were herded from the room to the waiting life boats, panic spreading por the second.
"Jasper!" Alek grasped the ginger's arm as he was rushing past, a stunned Mrs. Kenway on his arm, flanked por his younger brother. "I cannot find Sil and I fear she is in danger."
The older male nodded and turned to his mother. "Go ahead with Adam. I'll registrarse tu in a moment."
Reluctantly the brunette aristocrat allowed herself to be guided out por her younger son and the telepath turned to his teammate.
"Give me a segundo to open a mental link." An intensity overtook Jasper's unseeing eyes as he concentrated on finding the familiar link of their friend.
It only took a división, split second, the same amount of time his relief snapped to urgency.
Jazzy?
Cub, where are you? There's a bomb on the ship and-
I know! I followed one of the thugs down here. But time's running out! I don't know how to disarm it!
Forget about disarming it! he ordered sternly, Get out of there- An explosion rocked the ship, knocking the telepath off his feet. Screams pierced the air. The 17-year-old shook off the stun he had experienced. He realized the absence of the segundo conscience.
Cub? Cub? Aryess?
Nothing. Silence replied in his mind and wails filled his ears.
