They were lucky they had sedated her, o she would have gone into a rage. She hated test tubes as much as Superboy hated Pods and monkeys. Mr. Arleta came to superman and batman looking at a clipboard, “We have all the data, and she’s loaded in, Wayne Corps. has donated to the cause of bringing Harley back. Quite a generous donation too. Ten thousand dollars. And the Daily Planet, has gotten many to donate too. Five grand.” superman and batman glanced at each other. They wanted their baby girl back.

S.T.A.R Labs:
They had her unloaded and dosed her with another sedative in case she began to stir. They had used rare Kryptonite needles to get to her. Once they wheeled her in, they look her to the lab, were neurosurgeons came up with a plan on how to actually open her Kryptonian skull, and what to do when they got it open.

They decided on putting on radiation suits and then surrounding the operating mesa, tabla with Kryptonite. It worked, the surgeons went back and forth for days, creating simulations in her mind and her reactions. Her heartbeats, and what she responded too. Finally after a week passed, S.T.A.R. Labs was ready to announce, Obscurity was healed.

Gotham’s newspapers and tabloids raced with the story. Covering every detail they could get. The Daily Planet was filled with inside stories, and interviews with heroes on their thoughts throughout the surgery.

At last, Harley was sent home. o to the cave really. She was left at Clark’s apartment building and then walked to the nearest Zeta. She Zeta-ed to the cave, and was very surprised at the sight.

All of YJ was there, along with the entire Justice League. She smiled at all her friends. Skylar ran to her, scooping her in his arms, and twirling her in the air. He planted a long kiss on the lips before setting her down. Superboy rushed to greet her along with Nightwing and Batgirl. She was hugging (despite her I don’t hug attitude) and laughing and smiling with what would actually be considered her family. Very extended family.

superman was first of the JL to welcome her back. He hugged her in a hug that would have killed any regular human. She was greeted happily por everyone, from the Green Lanterns, the Hawks, and the Amazon, Fate, Billy, and so on.

Harley walked to batman last, who was standing off on his own. Harley was going to advance with a rare hug to the “I don’t hug either” Batman, but he averted himself. Harley moved back confused. Finally batman sighed and looked her in the eye, “I-I have to tell tu something Harley.” Harley shifted on her feet, and everyone else shifted nervously. The Bat had never stuttered before. “Yeah Bats?” she asked. batman sighed, and his announcement made everyone gasp. Harley’s face was stunned, along with everyone else. Skylar rushed forward, “NO! tu cant do that! She belongs here.” “Bruce…” asked Superman, concerned. But batman would have none of it. “I have made the decision,” he looked at Harley, “You have to leave the cave, and never come back. tu are off the team.”

2 years later: (many are now, 23 years old, 21, 25, and 24.)

Skylar shouted at Batman, “I HAVE TO SEE HER! SHE’S MY GIRLFRIEND! YOUR DAMN DAUGHTER!” Batman’s expression never changed. He had acted más cold hearted ever since he threw Harley off the team 2 years ago. However his tone did change, his voice was final, scary, and angry, “My decision was final. No one is to see her. tu are all forbidden to see her.” batman stod up to leave the room, when the red light went off on the Cave Comp Screen. Mal was off duty so batman pressed it. A policeman came on screen, “There’s an attack on Broadway and Main. We need your help.” batman called the team in for a briefing. This attack was to be stopped. Nightwing nodded at his mentor, “sure thing batman were on it.” And they quickly left the cave.

At the Crime Scene:

It was too late. Skylar pointed out the body that was being dragged out. Nightwing looked closely, the face of the dead woman looked very familiar, “ Fever? Dee File? Is that her?” Everyone looked over at Fever, Harley’s enemy, because she was one of the few who could not be killed por her touch. An officer came over just then, “I know tu cant help any but we called cause of our culprit and our DOA. I take it tu are acquainted with Dee File, a villain named Fever? Yeah well…”
He was interrupted por a shout of the surrounding press. A man shouted, “there she is! She killed her!” Everyone turned, two policemen were walking her to a squad car. Long black hair covering her face, and head down. No one could see who she was...but the hair was a dead give away, no one had hair as long as Artemis. Skylar took a deep breath, and the scent made him choke. He whispered, loud of to be heard, yet small enough to sound scared. “Harley?” The woman’s head snapped up and turned. The unmistakable identity of Harley Mei Kent, looked back at them. Skylar screamed, throwing himself forward, “NO! IT CANT BE HER! NO! HARLEY!” The Team grabbed his arms to keep him restrained. Barley succeeding due to their own surprise. Harley forcefully turned her head away, leaving Skylar and her friends behind…
