Today was the worst día of my life. I Linny Lock was left alone in a cruel world. I had just lost everything I loved my mom, dad, and older brother, Lian. They had gone on a cruise and when the ship came back they weren't on it. Nobody knew what happened to them. The police searched for weeks, but they were no where to be found. That week I had stayed with my best friend, Renne' Jones. I was devastated. I had no relatives to go to. My moms whole family was caught in a fuego and I didn't know any of my dads relatives. So now I was staying with Renne' until it was arranged for me to go to an orphanage.
Renne' and I talked a little about it.
"I'm so sorry Linny. I know tu miss your family" dicho Renne'.
"I know your sorry, but its not your fault. They probably got lost somewhere" I wept.
"I'm going to miss tu when tu leave to go the orphanage. I don't know what I will do without my best friend" cried Renne'.
"I feel the same way Renne'" I said. While I was going to cama i dicho a special prayer toward God.
"Dear God, I know tu have a reason for my family not being here. Will tu give me a way to be with them. Amen."
I dicho softly. Then I silently cried myself to sleep. When I woke up Mrs.Jones came in and told me,
"Oh Linny I just got a call and thay found an orphanage in Ruston, Lousiana that will take you".
"Ok Mrs.Jones" I told her.
I thought about how big city Shervport was awesome how small town Ruston would problay be boring. Then I talked to Renne' for a while
"Oh tu will have to come visit me sometime after tu leave" begged Renne'.
" Renne', I'll try" I dicho to make her happy.
" Will tu call me when tu get there and tell me whats the orphanage is like" Renne' asked.
" I will, if you'll promise we stay best friends even after I move" I said.
"Promise" dicho Renne'.
Once I got all my stuff together I went down stairs to say good bye to everyody.
"Thank tu Mr. and Mrs.Jones for letting me stay here till they found an orphanage for me".
"Your welcome Linny your like family to us". Mr.Jones said.
"Oh yeah, Linny yuor car is about to be here the drivers name is Miss. Lenard" Mrs. Jones said.
"Ok" I said.
I waited on the porch tell an old beat up camioneta, van pulled up. It had a sticker on the side that dicho Ruston orphanage.
"Ok. Here I go" I thought in my mind.
