Looking to duplicate the success of Weapon X (Wolverine), a group called 'Hydra' conducts experiments to create an ultimate weapon, a perfect soldier. They failed 22 times, but the 23rd attempt was a success. The solution? Logan's healing factor. To duplicate his mutant ability they used Logan's DNA, creating a clone. But during the process, they had to make some changes, creating a 'hormonal instability'. Their training of 'X-23' resulted in emotional instability, and a hatred. They had created the ultimate warrior, but - they can't control her.
Blaming Wolverine for her traumatic childhood, X23 goes renegade and arrives at the mansion to find her revenge, but finds instead her only family in Wolverine. Reluctantly she leaves the X-Men and Wolverine unharmed and goes her own way. Since Hydra continues to hunt down X23 to try and make her once más their living weapon, she's started her own crusade to wipe out their facilities, one por one. With the supposed destruction of the Supreme Hydra, the woman known as Viper, X23 may now be free to live a life of her own choosing.
In addition to her mutant powers and combat training, X23 seems to have a small cache of tiny electronic devices that can temporarily stun people. They are likely a Hydra construct, as they're wired to explode if tampered with.

Torpid does not speak, and may not be capable of it due to physical injury o childhood trauma, but she seems very friendly, especially around Spyke o Callisto, who she seems to regard as surrogate parents.
One of the lesser members of the Morlocks. "Torpid" can touch someone and cause them to be immobilized for hours. The first person we see her touch is paralyzed over night and then Berzerker for a least a few hours. No clue as to the control she has over her powers. She is shown wearing gloves, so it is assumed she can't turn her power on and off (much like Rogue).

The Hungan is a dreaded foe from Storm's past. Apparently he once was worshipped por a small tribe of Kenyan's, almost as a god, until the true, greater powers of Storm drove him out, and she was proclaimed their Goddess. When she left, he assumed power, but his desire for revenge was not so easily slaked. Taking with him some of his elite tribesmen, he journeyed to Bayville and captured Storm's soul in his scepter, taking control of her body and powers.
The other X-Men and especially Spyke (who shattered his scepter) spoiled his plans, and last he was seen was being hurled into the ocean por a Storm powered hurricane.
