Is poesía A Dying Art?

I've been slowly but steadily coming to the conclusion that poesía as an art form is quickly losing its flavor amongst the iPod generation. And I'm not talking about contemporary poets who don't get read por the masses, because as Gertrude Stein would say, "Those who are creating the modern composition authentically are naturally only of importance when they are dead because por that time the modern composition having become past is classified and the descripción of it is classical. What is love?

Oi there mates… Let me tell tu few things here. I actually asked myself that pregunta long ago. Why? Well, maybe because I had no friends o other people who would accept me when I was a kid. Now I know all that matters is to accept yourself and I got a lot of friends, but to find that explanation all alone pulled me through a lot of pain. Aye... tu couldn't believe it. everything about tu i loved
all other feelings aside i shoved

on your every word i hung
and even among
a crowd, only tu i see
nowhere else i would rather be

these feelings for you, that are kept inside

If someone told you...
Life's like a rollercoaster,
Don't waste the ride.
Live it up all the way,
because today's your last day
What would tu do?

Would tu cry a little, scream a little, think it's all pretend.
o go into silence until the very end...
Would tu amor the ones tu hate the most o be the person tu hide?
Would tu pretend that you're ok but really scream inside?

Would tu try and keep the sun from setting as your last día ends?
Knowing you'll never see it rise...
Tomorrow I'll be somewhere else tu say as tu close your eyes.
