BANG! BANG!A shill cry; a scream.
It's funny, tu never feel your death creeping closer. It's not like tu feel the silent breaths of your death tip-toeing toward you. And if tu did, like it would matter. Most people reach out to grab their world when they see it falling... then again, I'm not most people.
Hi, I'm Ever Flarez. I was- I mean, I am? - an average girl. The thing is, my life kinda clashed with the whole average thing.
Here I am. I'm not alive. But I am something. I'm ... well- dead, tu could say. But the thing is I'm not gone, gone. It's like my life is gone- not me.
I know tu what tu think... I used to think it, too. tu think: My last words would be...- Well, let me cut tu off there. Last words don't exist most of the time.
No matter how much tu plan to say them, when you're on the ground, bleeding, screaming, crying, fighting to stay alive I can almost promise tu that your over-planned last words will be your last thought. I take that back, your last thought is probably something like holy shit,.
Last goodbyes are something people really over think too. Its not like tu wake up the morning of your death thinking; Well since I'm gonna die today, better go tell mum how much I amor her and that I won't be seeing her ever again.
No.
Its an average day. Besides the death part, of course. For me it was an average Monday. I never told my family and friends I loved them. I spent time perfecting my make up instead of that. I wasn't aware that I was gonna die. And, coming from a dead chick, tu won't be aware of it either.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! It's a Monday morning, a week into the new school year. The first thing out of my mouth is an annoyed, complaining grunt and the first thing I do is press the snooze button and cover my head with a pillow.
Funny, tu don't realize how precious time is until tu have none left.
Groan.
Wake up.
Out of bed.
Spend 45 minutos perfecting my look.
Grab a bite.
Bye mum.
Shorts too short?
Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Dad.
Shake a crying sibbling off leg.
To school.. bleh.
Slam door, and I'm out.
Well, there went most of my morning.
So yeah, off to school. tu know. To get some homework I'll never turn in and flunk a examen that will never really matter.
I hop in the car and turn the AC on high. I drop por Jocelynn's to offer her a ride.
Blah, Blah, Blah.
See, there's nothing different. Its all the same. Your last día is nothing special except the fact that its the día your life ends.
Jocelynn and I talk about the normal. College cuties, upcoming hot parties, annoying brothers, annoying sisters, trends, celebrities, music....
Its all the same.
Everything.
After all the gossip and useless chatting, I pulled into the school parking lot. It was overflowing, as always.
We were late, so we had to park in a lot across the calle and walk. That only make us later. And only to make matters worse, it was raining.
Drip, drop. Drip, drip, drop.
The rhythm was mocking. Drip, drop. Drip, drip, drop. You're, late. You're, so, late.
So much for perfecting my looks all morning. Thank tu rain, for making my face even awfuller than it was before I put the makeup on. We trudged off to class in our smudged make up. Of course my locker was jammed.
After some nerdy 10th grader helps me out, I make my way to class. Mrs. Lawson asks why I'm late. I ask him why he's not. The class laughs. I wasn't trying to be funny.
See? Am I right? It's a boring, normal, day.

Forever
Forever tu are mine
Forever I’ll be here
Forever is what tu promised
Your corazón is worth nothing
But the your soul is priceless
Forever can be a long time
Forever can be a long time cut short
It’s worth the suffering
It’s worth the sacrifice
To forever be yours
Forever protected por your eagle like wings
Forever loved por your ocean wide heart
Forever seguro in your warm embrace
Forever is worth the wait
To be sliced thin
To stuffed thick
Forever is Forever
Forever is Eternity
Forever is a risk
Forever is a chance
Forever is worth the wait

preface
if the one person tu told the truth to all the time was now the one person tu have to keep it away from, would you?
would tu be able to lie through your teeth and pray that he believes you? what if he was the one person tu told everything to, he was the one who keeps tu from falling apart, but if tu told him anything he might be the one to bring tu tummbling down.
if tu had to chose between lieing to him, hurting him, and keeping him away from you, what would tu chose? because if tu dont chose right, he may very well die.

I am bored with love
and it's passionless limbs
that drape over my bed
in a lethargic state of impotence
while wearing the same red heart
my soul picked up hitchhiking
off highway serendipity
Now here we are
alone in togetherness
trying to build dreams
with two por fours and glue,
but even a home
won't tie us together
when our hearts live alone
Poetic vows cliched
into nothingness
like all words do, eventually
and we allowed our bodies to become another pair of hollow shadows that make amor to a wall
instead of each other
and we wonder why
the rosas are dying
and it's passionless limbs

A año hace in my calculation,
A año ago, there were situations.
The same song played now and then,
In my memory, it had begun.
Tears from my eyes were shed this morning,
It was the most tears I was shedding.
My world isn’t complete without you,
My world and I don’t know what to do.
amor isn’t a toy and never was.
amor is what tu cherish and keep as treasure.
My mind is at many topics at random,
It goes normal when you’re in my kingdom.
What ends my bad situations with people
Is my focus on you, my angel.
You’ll always be a part of me,
You’ll always be in my memory.
