He was in amor with Juri, but she married Haruka, which she had baby (real) Kaname, and then Rido murdered the baby and sacrificed it to reawaken the ancestor Kaname! :) the baby and the ancestor have the same name, just different ppl! :P

Kaname is the real ancestor, the first vampire. All vampiros (ancestors) came from human parents. So Rido awoke Kaname, fed him the real baby, and Kaname turned himself into a child in order to control his hunger! Sorry, kinda a lot to explain, just read Vampire Knight Chapter 62-63, they are Kaname's memories!! :)
