“So, Victoria, tu don’t know why you’re here, tu don’t even know where. tu must be really worried, it must be killing you.” Mary was standing in front of me, I was tied to a chair. She was leaning forward, looking stunningly beautiful, whispering her plans to me. “Your not going to die, at least not today. But trust me, every freakin second, tu will be wishing tu were dead.” Her smile got wider, mostrando her bloody teeth. I cringed. “You’re the most important thing right now, for the first time ever, if tu fail, I will personally kill you, slowly. And trust me, I have no problem doing it.” She laughed at that.
“Mary!” Thomas was calling her, she looked back and then fled to go see what he wanted. I was left alone.

“Come and get her.” Mary sang as she jumped up and down happily. Her brown hair bouncing with every jump. I struggled in my chair, waiting for all this to be over. Fast. The cloth came undone over my lips. I screamed. Mary took one look at Thomas, and then he was walking towards me. He slapped me, then fixed the cloth.
“Stay quiet.” He screamed at my face. I flinched again. The vampiros were closer now, there shrieks getting louder. My mind was on every flinch, slap, punch, cut, I had ever gotten. Every word that Mary o Mom had ever dicho to me. Never an ”I amor you.” o a “good job.” The anger rose inside me, wanting to burst out. The cloth became undone again, the knots were torn from my arms. The vampiros were getting closer, only a few feet away. I screamed, but this time not in fear, but with courage. They had reached me.
